Best burger ever!!

I love Joe Allen - one of my favourite restaurants in New York. I always make sure I come whenever I'm in town. The menu is great and very reasonably priced. I usually go for the burger - the best in town. Highly recommended!!

Another great local spot for dinner in the theater district. Old world charm with brick interior. Our family enjoyed a delicious dinner. The bread and butter was yummy. The New York strip steak was perfect for my daughter and me to share. Wonderful Caesar salad. Everything we had was very good and service was good too.

Like the drinks - Thanks Kevin! - great service and good food. Had a few drinks with a friend then ate at the bar once he gone for his bus to NJ.

The Monday night we dined here, we were surprised to find the menu was mostly south of the border. They did a pretty decent job with it. We arrived as the theatre crowd had left and left before the after theatre crowd arrived - which gave us the very good attention from our waitress. For price, location and service, this... More

One of my new favorites! Good comfort food with reasonable prices. A big hit after the theater lets out, both patrons and cast. Escargot wonderful, as was the meat loaf. Not the best martini in town, but they at least understand how to make it dirty!

Joe Allen has the feel I really like in a bar or restaurant. IT is slightly dark with a lot of wood. I had dinner at the bar. The service was good and the food was really good. I had a cheeseburger that I ordered medium rare. I actually got a burger cooked medium rare. It tasted great and the... More

After a disappointing outing next door at Bar Centrale, I was nervous to come to the other must go to Broadway area restaurant. Well, I am glad we came and I will be back. The vibe, service and atmosphere are just great. The food is solid too, we did a salad and the mac n cheese.

A very cozy restaurant. The wait staff are very efficient and friendly. The menu has standard options, but had one of the best steaks/frites at this restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are catching a Broadway show. Enjoy!

Joe Allen is a great restaurant in the theater district. The menu felt like mom's kitchen and it did not disappoint. We had the NY Strip Steak and Meatloaf and even tried the Mac and Cheese appetizer. All of this was followed by warm apple pie...see why it makes me think of mom's kitchen! Wait staff was very attentive and... More
