We enjoyed a lovely meal here our first night in NYC, and just before attending our show for that evening. The décor is what you would expect in NYC.....long, narrow, brick walls, great wooden bar, city pictures, etc. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Started with small Caesar salads then straight to the entrée. Paccheri - shrimp in... More

This restaurant is obviously used to dealing with theatre crowds and did a great job getting us in and out in time for our show. Food was good, not too expensive. Wine was affordable. What more could you ask for! I had the liver, you don't often find that on a menu and when I do I order. It was... More

I travel to NYC quite often and Joe Allen's is on my hit list every time I'm there. Old world class and great food. Always busy so check theater show times and try to go then it should be mush less congested. Oh yeah make sure to order the Pot Roast if they are serving it, the best...

You'll love this popular restaurant and may view a broadway star or two. The flop wall is something to see. Food is good, service is great. Atmosphere is nyc.

Always wanted to try this place on our previous visits but never got round to it so this time we made the the effort to get there early before our show. We arrived about 5oc without a booking so we were happy to get a table for 2. At first we were a bit worried that we were getting taken... More

We went there for dinner and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is small with an intimate feel. Service was terrific. I had calf's liver (very tender) and my friend had seafood stew (good combination of different seafoods). Dessert was nothing special (apple streudel with ice cream). All in all, I would go there again and recommend it to others. For 1... More

Joe Allens is located in restaurant row only a short walk from the Edison Hotel and theatre district. We took our table just as everyone was leaving for theatre performances so it was initially empty but then very quickly became busy again. Had an excellent steak cooked rare just as I like it and a carafe of the house wine... More
