Went there on New Year's Day. The place has a nice old, dark wood, mature ambience. They do pack you in there and you will be sitting very close to others if it is crowded. That wasn't an issue. Our issue was that our server seemed a bit unsure of what was and what wasn't on the menu or allowed.... more

Tripped across this by accident. was looking for spot for lunch in Union Sq/ Wash Sq area. Good food, good serivce, clean and comfortable. Appeared to get a lot of local repeat custom. Agree that the crowd is older but that to me says older wiser and more experienced. Would return if in area. more

Good late night place. The steak is great and the service is nice. The over-stressed manager, however, should be careful of his behaviour in public. He lets the place down. The jazz was good and we had a lovely late-night evening. more

I took my younger brother here after he graduated from high school. We ordered the porterhouse for two but the fillet part of the steak was missing. I asked the waiter about it and he said the weight of the steak is "correct" and that we're still getting the same weight of meat we're paying for! His argument I guess... more
