Took my two teens to celebrate our Anniversary as we traveled together in NYC. The experience could not have been better. We each tried something different from apps to dessert, and there was not one thing we didn't like. Even my pickiest child ate everything. While being gourmet, the portions are not tiny, but just right. We thoroughly enjoyed the... More

No culinary art, lack of passion, taste mismatches... I am used to the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon (France) and I can't compare the two restaurants because there is such a gap - an abyss I must say . Having fairly great products to cook and making so many mistakes tastewise is a non-sense when it comes to show your... More

We stopped in for a late lunch and could not have been more impressed. The culinary students of L'Ecole at the International Culinary Center presented us with nothing but creatively plated palate pleasing dishes. The service was outstanding and the decor inviting. A must!!

Came here with my family on a Friday evening with high expectations but they were not met. The menu is quite small and comprise of American (not French) food. Our starters were just ok (not to say far from what we could have gotten somewhere else for the same price). The grilled fish I had as a main dish was... More

At the corner of Broadway and Grand in Soho, enjoy a meal prepared by young chefs studying the L'Ecole at the International Culinary Center. Simple decor, outstanding service, both inventive and classical menu choices. For lunch started with a well balanced appetiser of soft crab and melon salad, before moving on to the duck magret properly prepared, medium rare with... More

An absolute MUST TRY!!! This place is amazing. This is a culinary school with student chefs, however, the food and consistency is amazing. I can't say enough good things.

I've seen this restaurant by chance, walking in the street. It was NYC Restaurants week, and we saw that they have 3 course menu with the price of 25 USD - at Lunch. we've made reservations and we are so happy we did. I know that this is a school for chefs but: The food was excellent - as if... More

We walked in last minute while shopping and asked for a reservation. Luckily they had a no-show. The soft shelled crab was amazing, The Mussels were perfect, the duck and the halibut tasted great. The desserts also passed the taste test (except the shell on the buckwheat tart (gluten free) (oh well, everyone has their preference). The service was excellent... More

My husband and I loved L'Ecole. We were so lucky to have experienced a wonderful dinner during the NYC Restaurant Week. We were warmly greeted at the door and throughout our entire dinner were well taken care of. Bartender, Ben, mixed a great Manhattan and a flavourful pear cardamom non alcoholic cocktail. I wish I had one of those pear... More

This is a gem. Gourmet French cuisine of excellent quality at reasonable prices. It is a collaboration between the Culinary, Pastry, and Bread departments of The International Culinary Center with over 60 Chef-Instructors and students selected from across the school. My wife and I discovered it relatively recently when shopping for Oriental furniture at the superb Pearl River Mart, just... More
