Best anniversary dinner!

My husband and I had an amazing dinner here last night. He had put that it was our anniversary on the reservation and L'ecole made sure to make it special. We were seated in a great spot off to ourselves in the window. It was perfect for people watching and gave us some privacy. The service was the... read more

Choice felt a little limited but the food was lovely. The prices are very reasonable indeed for such a nice meal. Not sure why some people were given baguettes on leaving. Maybe its a NY thing.

We found this restaurant on Broadway, when we were having difficulty hailing a cab on a cold afternoon. L'Ecole was comfortable and warm and the staff gave a great welcome. It was late but afternoon we needed lunch and although the menu choice was not wide it was perfectly adequate. The burger served with fries was excellent and I had... More

I've been visiting L'Ecole for many years and stopped by last weekend for another delightful brunch. Terrific service, very tasty breads (absolutely delightful!) and a familiar, delicious menu. And given the great service and fair prices, especially for NY -- this is a must.

Hard to believe that this place is filled with students! The meal was lovely and the staff were really helpful. Hats off to the chefs-in-training and their instructors. My friends and I were really impressed at the level of their skills!

This is a review I have to have. It's about dining well in Manhattan, NY, and not paying the full price of fine dining. The place: L 'Ecole - Restaurant of the International Culinary Center, 462 Broadway, NY 10013. Phone: (212) 219-3300 It was Boxing Day 2014 in New York and after a morning shopping frenzy, we headed for L'Ecole.... More

We recently ate at L’Ecole at 462 Broadway for a celebratory dinner. We found the service excellent, and the food good to excellent. Tasty, good textured bread, amuse bouche, and very good appetizers of gnocchi and an especially delightful coarse pate were followed by entrees of pan seared wild black sea bass and a serving of duck breast. The wine... More

I have eaten many times at L'Ecole, and generally I am happy to bring friends here. This time I wanted to bring my family. The menu changes, and I had some misgivings when I saw it on line before going. However, we were on the path and wanted to take our kids somewhere special. There were four of us, and... More

My husband and I have limited experience of fine dining. However, we decided to try Lecole on recommendation of a friend! I have to say it was a wonderful dining experience!! All three meals were stunningly presented and extremely tasty! We're not big drinkers so we both had the non alcoholic cocktails! I didn't love my pear one, but upon... More

We visited L'Ecole as a group of 4 and had the set menu with wine. The food was really delicious and presented beautifully. The selected wines, complimented the food really well. The staff were very friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
