We went during restaurant week last February and sat at the bar. The bartender was charming and very nice with us. The food was amazing and super tasty. Due to restaurant week the price was OK, I really don´t know about it not during RW. The restaurant scene it´s beautiful, it reminds me of one of Gossip Girl´s scene. I... More

I suggest dressing up because this place exudes five star luxury. I'm partial to french cuisine; I was not disappointed. I thought because it hosted a culinary institute, the food would be sub par. I was pleasantly proven wrong. My friend I decided to have the three course prix-fixe menu. I didn't like Quail until I tried their Miso Grilled... More

Delicious food but small portion sizes. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. One prix fix option includes 2 entrees - which, after you are finished with your meal, understand better that this would have been a good choice, rather than be less than satisfied after you meal. They do serve up a substantial portion for dessert, though!

Ate here a few nights ago with a group of friends and we all had such a wonderful experience . First off several members of our group or gluten-free but the waitstaff was more than accommodating and took the time to suggest excellent options for entrées. The salads were very fresh and delicately dressed , the fish was perfectly prepared... More

I dined at l’École on a Monday evening—a slow night, but there was no slack in either the service or the food. I ordered under the three-course prix fixe menu with wine pairing. I wanted everything on the menu, so I asked my server, Shohal, for guidance. He recommended miso grilled quail on curry couscous for a first course and... More

Went here for dinner, we had a 4 course menu with the wine package. Presentation of the starters and mains could have been better, the trout was slightly overcooked but still ver good, duck was perfect. Desserts was excellent, my wife is a creme brûléeoholic and she gave this one 6 stars out of 5! Even if the one they... More

We found L'Ecole when we walk to our hotel and decided to try. We did not make the reservation but were there around 1.30 and they give us a nice table for 3. Overall the food, the wine the service the athmosphere were the best value for the money we spent in Nyc. We took the 3 course lunch menu... More

Beautifully presented, quality of ingredients was excellent and portions abundant. I had the pork which was originally prepared, flavorful, and filling. The pate is always excellent. My guest had the Branzino which I usually have but it looked overdone the cut was rather thin. That was disappointing. If I order it again, I’ll make certain to ask for a thicker... More

We visited on a Monday. We did not make a reservation and we're just beyond the 2:30 lunch cutoff. They serve a limited menu from 2:30 -5:30. It had a salad, French onion soup, pate, salmon offering, burger, french fries and creme brûlée. Full wine, beer and mixed drink menu offered. We ate 2 burgers and split the fries. It... More
