I have been here twice in the last few weeks. Once with a large group. We had he shared platters, plenty of food, could hardly finish half of it. Second time a la carte, once again fantastic. Great Tortellini. It's authentic, nothing fancy; great, simple food, unique atmosphere, recommend this and will certainly come back.

Ate here in Nov. 2914, came back w my family and in-laws in Dec. excellent food, hefty portions at reasonable prices. Makes you feel like you stepped into a time zone in the era of Sinatra and Dean Martin. Loved the authentic decor, serenaders, and Butch the Hat! Will definitely be back on our next trip!

Sorry , i dont know whether because it was xmas and they were busy, but We found this place very disappointing. Ordered the shared platters, there were 9 of us a d definately not enough food and not much variety. Waiter very unattentitive, was too busy talking to the table next to us who obviously were regulars. As we walked... More

This was overall the best italian food I have ever eaten. Each one of us enjoyed each different entree we had. If you are looking for good italin food, this is a must! It felt as if we were eating in Italy itself.

We made reservations as we had 11 people. We didn't have to wait when we Arrived. Food was delicious from the chicken fingers( too huge to be called fingers though) and fries one of the kids had to the chicken parm. and eggplant. Everyone's meal was outstanding. Our waiter was very funny and layed back making everyone comfortable. We were... More

OK, I was part of a tour group but the food we had was pretty average. It may be different if you spend a lot on a big meal, but for us, it just wasn't up to par. Some people in our group even got sick after eating there. It may be just a coincidence but I won't go there... More

I've been going to La Mela's for years. My last visit was a few days ago. We've only done family style so I can't speak for anything else. The food is always great. I love the tortellini. Their gnocchi is also great. It's a great place to go at pretty much any time. They're open until at least 2am, even... More

I was traveling with friends who heard this restaurant was amazing. I always, always visit the same restaurant in Little Italy but went with their pick this time. The stuffed mushrooms were horrible!!! Not sure how you mess those up. The table next to us were having a merlot chugging contest and the waiter put bottles of wine on our... More
