Lucky for me, Lupe's was just around the corner from my hotel. I ate there twice…both times were delicious! The first time I had a wonderful salad with very fresh ingredients, and the second time I had huevos cubanos in the afternoon. They have yummy fresh juices. Watermelon was my favorite. Even if I stay in another section of town,... More

Went there for brunch on a Saturday and was shocked at the variety and value. The menu included all kinds of brunch fare and vegetarian/vegan friendly options. The food was delicious and two people ate for under $30, including tip. I had excellent huevos Cubanos good enough to satisfy a Cuban food loving Floridian.

The "Super beef burrito" is one of the best burrito i've ever eaten!! The chicken enchiladas and quesadillas are also delicious! I'll be back.

Food tasted great, warm atmosphere, they were very fast and friendly. Lots of locals eating at Lupe's. Fair prices. Some what loud, but still able to carry on a conversation.

After a late arrival to our hotel and in desperate need for some quick, local, comfort food, we found Lupes in Soho after some online research. Small, quirky and delicious! Oh, did I mention a great deal, as well?!? Our server greeted us with menus and water. Within 10 minutes we were tucked into fresh and tasty burritos. Our server... More

We stopped here last night before the Halloween Parade for a drink and quick bite but we ended up staying for dinner. The food was very delicious! Loved the shrimp quesadilla that came with a huge side of rice and black beans. But the best thing was the salsa served with chips (for $1). LOVE this salsa. Will go back... More

Our children loved this place. Nice guacomole and salsa, reasonably priced. Cute place. Around the corner when you are in Soho.

When I lived in New York it was nearby Lupe's, so this was my local diner which happened to be Mexican. The restaurant has always been well-priced, and I like that the food is unpretentious, delicious and filling. The staff are always friendly and efficient. In more recent years, as SoHo has been occupied by the affluent, the social landscape... More

We swung by as it was near us and we were starving. I have to say the place was simple -- nothing fancy but charming. Service to was very good, a young wait staff did a fabulous job of moving the food along. The food was straight forward mexican food, and served quickly. The very BEST part of the meal... More

Been here many times in the last twenty years or so, and it has always been good. It can be crowded around lunchtime, as all the yuppies and hipsters are usually packing the place having two hour lunches. Chile Verde and tamales are usually real good.
