Located near Madison Square Garden, this restaurant had many televisions at the bar with sports channels on. There was also booth and table seating. The menu was typical bar fare and what we had was good. Our server was attentive without being pushy.

We were seated immediately. Good waitress who kept our water filled. Food came out very fast! Great steak salad and fish tacos. Not huge portions but perfect with no leftovers before our show at Madison Square Garden. Big thanks to the security guard who gave us the recommendation!

Bartender was awfully rude. When I sat down at the bar, he just scowled at me and walked by 5 times before I finally had to yell at him to see if I could get a drink... and it wasn't even busy. Asked for food recommendations and he seemed pained by such a question. Beer was beer, Sheppard's Pie was... More

Don't let the outside appearance deter you, this is a comfy NY old style bar/pub. Once inside everything is nice and comfy. We went at Happy Hour so the long bar was packed and loud but just typical bar scene. We asked to be seated in the back where we had a lovely and delicious dinner. We had the half... More

This joint is near Penn Station on Seventh Ave. I say in a complimentary way as it isn't a new shiny chain restaurant. It has an old bar and booths and feels very comfortable. Lots of flat screen TV's mounted around the place and I am guessing it is really full when sporting events are being televised. We ordered ribs,... More

We dropped in to MH before going out to a concert and ate well, but not spectacularly. The burgers, as with many American establishments, looked great but didn't actually taste of anything - God bless British grass-fed beef! - while the Cobb salad was fine but VERY heavy on the blue cheese dressing, making it pretty heavy going. Great drinks... More

This restaurant was located very near our hotel. We stopped in for dinner. The food was pretty good. We had the french onion soup (tastey), calamairi (cooked too long), lettuce wraps (the meat was flavored good, but contained gristle), pot stickers (salty and tasted like chicken boulllion), and the ruben (tastey). The portions were somewhat small for the price and... More

This is a great place get a beer and have some decent pub food. Great food, drink and atmosphere. We were stopping at a nearby hotel and used this place 3 times for our evening meal. No fuss Brit type pub grub. From the street entrance the place looks like a sports bar as lots of sports fans attending Madison... More
