We had a very pleasant dinner with another couple on a Saturday night. The reservations were for 8:00 pm and the restaurant was not crowded. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. The menu was not elaborate but they did have a number of specials and we all found something we liked to order. We... More

I wanted a place that was authentic and not commercial and that's exactly what I got. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious! I was there during Restaurant Week so they had a really great special menu to select from and it was a great deal. Tomato & Mozzarella, Veal Scalopini and Ricotta Cheescake with a capacinno.... More

Needed somewhere good for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner in New York and mioe the doorman at intercontinental barkley recommended the restaurant. Service exceptional, food superb and wine excellent. Additional touches of happy anniversary spelt out on the desert plate and complimentary drink at the conclusion of the meal. Great food on all courses and staff were welcoming and professional.... More

Recommended by a friend with a house [yes] around the corner, Nino's Positano could not have come with a more effective local endorsement! And the ristorante delivered: nice cucina italiana - I chose the tortellini carbonara, w a glass of their chianti which was good, and the service was smooth. My principal waitress had an interesting accent so of course... More

Food is pretty good. This my second time and ordered a pizza again. . This time the quattro formaggi. . The cheese was to strong for my taste however the pizza in general is awesome. Great service as well.

I recently dined for the first time at Nino's Positano. We went for the lunch prix fix menu and it was an excellent experience. Working in the area it is very easy for the price of lunch to go well past $25 per person without all that comes with lunch at Nino Positano's. The mozzarella cheese in the mozzarella appetizer... I've been going to Nino's for lunch for a number of years now, and it has never disappointed me. The service is professional and always welcoming. The menu is so big (if you also count the many daily specials) that it's always difficult to choose. To start with, the breadbasket with the delicious farmers bread with olives in spicy olive... I'm always exploring Italian restaurants in New York, and have been going to the original Nino's for years, so when I had to take a meeting near the UN I tried for Nino's Positano. Solid place, the meatballs are awesome, but what I really loved was the veal chop with mushroom rosemary sauce- sooo good!!! What got this place 5... More

While eating here with a friend of mine, I asked him why I thought the pizza was so good, and he said it was because they don't use sugar in their crust. He spent several years in Italy, and is a native New Yorker, so I certainly respect his opinion. Nevertheless, I found the pizza to be very flavorful, with... More
