Great surprise in Midtown West

We loved Nino's ristorante! The food and the wine were excellent, and Christian is a great waiter, ready to do everything to make our lunch unforgettable.

Have visited Nino's many times since my last review. Have dined here for lunch as well as dinner. I dined at Nino's two weeks ago with family. It was a Saturday night and to our delight there was a piano player! Our waiter was fantastic and service was extremely professional. We had the mushroom appetizer and for the main dishes-vegetarian... More

Close your eyes and walk in any direction in New York City and you can run into an Italian restaurant. It's useful, though, to have a list of the best ones around town when you want to go out on that special date. You can put Nino's on that list. This Upper East side gem presents a very comfortable atmosphere... More

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was. This is the place for intimate or romantic dining, with excellent food, marvelous service and live, low key piano music to offer the perfect background for an elegant dinner. Veal was perfection. This is a classy little restaurant on the upper east side. Good neighborhood. Good wine selection.

Okay, I know it sounds crazy. I thought that too when my boyfriend (now husband) told me he wanted to fly us to New York for his birthday to fulfill his long time dream of eating the $1,000 pizza at Nino's. The pizza was phenomenal, the wine was delicious, Nino was so charming!, and all of the other food we... More

It was my own bias but I was brought here after visiting a patient at a nearby hospital and expected typical red sauce joint. Boy, was I proven wrong! First, the service is world class. The decor borders on the ornate but is quite comfortable. To start, we were presented a couple of grilled, spicy peppers with tapenade and warm... More

What a lovely restaurant ! This restaurant has been decorated beautifully. The dinnerware is tasteful as is the silverware . The service was very good and management makes you feel special. Niño's has a prix fix menu but you have to get there before a certain time. They also have a lunch prix fix. I really enjoyed my veal dish... More

This is the Top of Line for delicious Italian Food. This place is often frequented by celebrities and politicians. The food choices are many and they will make what you want. The cesar salad is made to order right in front of you. The seafood lobster dish and pasta is out of this world. The owner Nino is generally on... More

So, me and my friends came there as a reference from a friend. Place looks bad, nothing special and servers dont make u fell special at all. I don't expect royal treatment, but for the price, they should at least be polite to their guests And it doesn't help that owner (or GM) is running around and yelling at his... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
