Pricey

This was a great dinner. Pricey, but we knew that going in. Service was great and the food was fantastic.

I eat at Palm West frequently, and like it so much that we also hold our firm's annual holiday luncheon there (which has come to be known as the Lobster Shoot, for 35 - 45 people). Appetizers and cocktails are excellent; I usually order shrimp salad (the shrimp really ARE jumbo) or iceberg lettuce with dressing on the side and... More

Excellent service. Ana Mari was charming, knowledgeable and knew exactly what I would want to eat. While the place was loud I blame that on the rude and obnoxious customers at 2 tables near me but the restaurant is not to be blamed. The lobster bisque was excellent, the filet mignon was perfect, as ordered. I opted for the potatoes... More

We were going to the theatre last night and decided to try and old favorite, The Palm. Have to say, dinner was excellent. We were undecided about which clam app to get, the Baked clam Casino or Oreganata. Our waiter said, no worries, we'll do a half order of each. Both were good, not great. We ordered the strip steak... We are Palm regulars in Boston but we were visiting our granddaughter and her husband in NYC, The general manager of Boston recommended this location to us and even made the reservation for us. It was typical Palm Service from the door to our leaving. A great feature for theater goers is they have parking in the next door garage... More

Have been to the Palm before and everything was as expected. On our last trip the service was on par with an outback, not the Palm. (Food and past experience kept my overall rating over 2 stars) We went on Feb 14th so we of course expected some slow service BUT not what we received. We received a lack of... More

Great food and service. The wait staff and hostess were both friendly and efficient. They got us out in time to make a curtain without feeling rushed.

Perfect place to eat right before going to a show! The steak was just simply amazing. Also the waitstaff there are excellent. The waitress we had last night,Tracy, was great and on point with everything.

The Mrs and I have been to The Palm, The Palm Too, and a number of other Palm locations across the USA. From the very first, quite memorable experience, to this one we've never been unhappy. Yes, the price may be a bit high and the restaurants now are a bit of an 'attraction' rather than simply a great NYC... More

As a jaded New Yorker, I had expected only a mediocre, but expensive dinner at this chain restaurant, which I had selected because of its proximity to the theater district. However, the steaks were very good (New York strip and rib eye), as were the side dishes, which were moderate in size. The service was friendly and efficient, and the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
