This restaurant was excellent both for its cuisine and service. The menu was varied but on the expensive side. We were fortunate to get a table without booking so I would recommend booking first. This restaurant is across from two On Broadway Theatre's so you probably need a reservation. We staggered in here at 1:00pm Saturday August 20 and lucked into a half empty place. I wasn't into eating as a I just had dental surgery and was restricted to a soft diet. So passed on the lobster bisque because it had too much... More

We have eaten at the Palm all across the country and it's bees spot on every time. We especially come here for the Carrot Cake which we sit at the bar, eat after dinner and order for take out. It is the best we have ever eaten and trust me we have tried a lot of versions. The steaks are... More

Me and my girl friends from high school came to have dinner at this restaurant and we chatted. It's a bit crowded and too dim for me, the furnishing is somewhat outdated. However their food selections are great. I had grilled sea bass and it was delicious along with veggies on the side. Wine list is excellent, it's not so... More

Dinner consisted of great food and service. Husband enjoyed the 3 pound broiled lobster special along with the half and half potatoes. He loved the lobster and the potatoes were the best. Our daughter enjoyed a superb sea bass which was done to perfection. Cooked perfectly. Service impeccable. Loved the entire experience.

We went here before seeing a play (Fun Home-awesome, by the way) for lunch on Saturday. They have a lunch deal that is a fantastic value. You get soup or salad, an entree with a side, and dessert. It was delicious and the service was excellent. We had soup, filet as well as the fish of the day (alligator bites-humorously... More

My boyfriend and I ate here last night and it was so incredible that I had to write the review as soon as I could. The food was so delicious. We couldn't believe it. The massive basket of bread that was delivered as soon as we sat down was still warm. We ordered the calamari and a watermelon with mozzarella... More

I went here with my wife & twin teenage daughters before we went to see Wicked. It's known as a steakhouse, but they have summer lobster specials. Check their web site for details. It's right across the street from the Gershwin Theater where Wicked is showing. Great old New York atmosphere, very good service & food. It's in the heart... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
