We are in New York for a few days to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday. I contacted Patsy's through Anne there events manager to book the table and organise a cake while still in UK. Apart from having problems getting a cab everything went perfectly. The meal was beautiful, I had trio of ravioli, my husband had cheese ravioli and... More

I love everything about this place. Excellent food, Excellent service. This is owned by a guy who is a food celebrity who never forgot about his customers. I had no idea when "Sal" came to the table to check on our satisfaction, that he was the owner. He talked to my 10&7 year olds, discussed how he would accommodate my... More

Patsy's is not a chain - YEA! It's a family-owned restaurant that has been around since the 1940s. Loved the hustle-bustle of this place - reminded me of a big Italian family. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I'm a purist when it comes to Italian food so, along with a salad, I ordered the pasta with the... More

The food and service were ok. Good atmosphere. The Lasagne was good but we have had better ones. The tagliatelle Alfredo were ok and good. In general I can recommend the restaurant.

Went with family and friends on a short trip to New York. This is a typical old fashioned Italian with food in abundance and an excellent if pricey wine list. The service was very good apart from the barman who needs to go back on the customer service part of his course, curt to the point of being rude. That... More

This restaurant has a great reputation that I just don't get. The food was average and the surroundings a bit dated. The staff are nice and helpful though. Maybe it's an American palate thing, people at surrounding tables seemed to love it.

It is easy to pass by Patsy's on 56th as it is surrounded with several rather touristy restaurants. Inside is a world of calm, excellent service, and superior Classic Italian food. We had the stuffed zucchini flowers- very rarely found in restaurants this side of the pond. You definitely need to make dinner reservations several days in advance as it... More

From the moment you step inside the door, The ambiance, smell, culture & friendliness all combine to provide an excellent dining experience. I had the chicken parm and it was so delicious! Our wait staff was attentive and their sense of humor and friendliness only added to our time there. All the food was awesome for everyone in our party.

Seriously? Top Italian restaurant in Manhattan, you have to be kidding. Waited 20 minutes past our booking time for the table. Pasta starters were average mainstream dishes, no flare, no real taste, same as you get in any italian chain. Veal entree was over salted, almost so salty I could not eat it. Chicken Parm was the same as the... More

Really looked forward to some great Italian in the city, highly rated on TripAdvisor. Service was fantastic, deep fried zucchini was great, Caesar salad started the "no taste" dinner. They mixed at the table but I don't think it was house made dressing. The entrees had no taste-veal marsala and gnochi just so bland.
