Great food and wonderful service!!

Patsy's is an excellent Italian restaurant. We checked it out on TA and we were not disappointed. The staff is so gracious and welcoming, and what can I say about Sal - he is the best. The history of celebs and pictures covering the walls, just awesome. I purchased one of Sal's cookbooks that he... read more

We were intrigued by the history of the restaurant, so we went. Won't go back. Steamed mussels were very good; gnocchi was terrible - very dense (supposed to be light and airy); meatballs were bland & had too much bread crumbs. Stuffed veal chop was well cooked, but was not tender & was over sauced. Chicken Siciliano was very ordinary.... More

60,s style combined with great food. Busy, noisy, crowded. A fantastic atmosphere. Typical relaxed friendly Italian service. Food extremely good. They still have a sweet (dessert) trolley.A nice touch we have not seem for a long time.

Foodies take notice... this is the best Italian food EVER! We are talking authentic, and delicious... not your run of the mill pasta joint. I place them as one of the five best meals of my life, and I've done a LOT of fine dining in my 45 years. Make a reservation NOW!!!

My wife and I had reservations for a Saturday evening but had to reschedule for the following day which was Mother's Day. We hadn't even thought about it when I called and, in fact, our first choice of time was unavailable. But we got an 8 O'clock reservation for two to celebrate our birthdays, both this month. We arrived about... More

My Wife Dianna and I had dinner at Patsy's for a special birthday for her, before we left on a cruise. The evening couldn't have been any better. The food and service was impeccable. We love family owned restaurants, and this was the best. Getting to meet the Granfather, Son, and Grandson was also a special treat. I would highly... More

This NYC landmark restaurant has been around forever, as evidenced by all of the autographed celebrity photos in the restaurant. We loved that. The waiters are all older gentlemen who seem like they may have worked there for forty years. I mean that with all due respect. The service wasn't 100% friendly, thus the four stars instead of five. Maybe... More

I ate at Patsy's last night, a Monday night. The service is old world professional. The wait staff simply treated me like I was their most important customer. The Chef, Sal, came out of the kitchen and greeted guests, including me. The host, Frank, came over twice to see if everything was ok. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere like... More

My family has been eating at Patsy's for over 60 years. My grandfather used to have a seat at the bar and told me stories of Sinatra eating at the end of the bar. I don't ever recall having a bad meal or service and eat there at least 15-20 times a year. Joe and Sal are the reason this... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening of classic Italian food and ambiance in one of Frank Sinatra's favorite restaurants in New York City. The service was impeccable. The Tiramisu was beyond words, served from a large bowl on a desert cart. The variety would suite anyone with a whim for delicious food from all parts of Italy. The... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
