Fantastic

This is the place to eat in New York. The atmosphere is warm, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the portions are large. Sal, the owner and chef, always comes out of the kitchen to greet us and could not be nicer. He genuinely wants his clientele to enjoy themselves. The eggplant... read more

After scoping out a really special place to eat for our trip to NYC, I booked a table at Patsy's. I was looking forward to the meal, and kept telling everyone how excited I was to be going, as it was 'my treat' for the weekend trip. Subsequently, I have never been so ridiculously disappointed as I was that night... More

We visited Patsy's on our first night on NY and it actually was not outstanding. We ordered two appetizers and several pasta dishes, and none of them was especially great. Finally, service was okay although not extremely friendly, making an overall average experience.

Want an italian restaurant with American-style large portions? Found! The food is tasteful, the service is fast and courteous. The location is great. That's probably why it was a favorite of Sinatra. Highly recommended!

My brother and his girlfriend were very excited to bring us to Patsy's after we saw a show. It didn't disappoint! It was a great experience of a classic Italian restaurant from the decor and atmosphere to the wine and excellent food. They have an extensive wine list and delicious cocktails. The appetizers for the table included calamari, mozzarella en... More

Best food ever. Get the gnocchi with meat sauce (it's veal). Boyfriend got the stuffed pork chops with roasted red peppers and vinegar- to die for. Old school decor, Sal is amazing. He gave us a free jar of sauce since we were first time visitors. The food is really overwhelming. We're in NY for 4 more days and we... More

My wife and I decided on Patsy's for our pre-Carnegie Hall dinner. Everything was perfect, from the first drink to the last bite! The service was just outstanding, especially for how busy it was. The chef himself even came out to speak to my wife and I and we got to go home with a jar of his very own... More

Five of us had a wonderful evening at Patsy's. We started with a hot, antipasto platter that was excellent. We had; baked clams, shrimp, eggplant and calamari. For a second course we had penne pasta in a pink sauce with pancetta, peas and scallions. We had multiple entrees including grilled veal, veal piccata and sausage and peppers. All of the... More

Whenever we visit NYC, Patsy’s on 56th is a MUST! We have enjoyed every meal eaten at this delectable epicurean delight. It seems we have our favorite meals such as Veal Parm, Eggplant Parm, and Gnocchi and of course we always start out with the superb Calamari app. But, when we venture out of our “usuals”, we are never disappointed.... Whilst staying in NYC we used trip advisor to steer us in the right direction when going out to eat. A couple of us had seen patsy's ratings here and thought it seemed a good choice and whilst walking to Central Park one day we saw how close it was to our base so decided to eat there that night.... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
