45th anniversary on 56th

We toasted our 45th wedding anniversary, and all at Patsey's treated us like royalty. Asparagus wraps with red sauce were tasty, and was followed with a giagantic, delicious veal chop that was perfectly prepared. Nepolian for desert was a perfect end to a great anniversary dinner.

Don't have the chicken marsala. Bland, floury tasting and pretty sure those are canned mushrooms. Large serving of average food. Bread was good. Service, not so hot. Very noisy aside from the moron who let his kid interfere with other diners.

I loved this place! Walking in is like taking a step back in time. The walls are covered in photos of celebrities, and the staff was absolutely lovely. The owner stopped by our table to tell us about the menu, the glasses of wine are poured tall (the best!) and the food was great! I got the classic veal meatballs... More

Patsy's is a fascinating Italian resteraunt with the best Italian food I've ever had! Even though I get something different every time I go there (which is EVERY time I go to NY) I have never had a meal that I don't like! Patsy's changes the way the way they make a meal every so often so your not having... More

Great atmosphere with autographs on the walls. But the food was like 1950's. Bland, not creative. And let's not forget the ravioli. The dish was described as three types with three sauces. There were six ravioli. Couldn't tell the sauces apart. About five bucks per ravioli and I've gotten frozen ravioli at the grocery store with more flavor. And what... More

Nice place, good food and wine, a pleasant place to have dinner. I was rather intrigued by it's connection with Frank Sinatra. Unfortunately the waiters were a tad snooty, not terribly appropriate when dealing with customers.

We ate at Patsy's and went with their pre-theatre menu ($59 pp). My wife enjoyed her meal but not as much as I did. I really liked the Penne ala Vodka for my appetizer and the Pork Rolotine was outstanding. The service was good but give yourself enough time to enjoy the meal. We sat down around 5:30 but did... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
