I came here on business with a client that has offices nearby - my first time at this wonderful old time NY establishment - or it felt like an old time place. We had a lovely and peaceful lunch with personalized service. I had the Kale Caesar Salad which was a special. I asked for them to add shrimp and... More

Fantastic traditional Italian fare with great specials. Great wine list. The bar is very cozy. Very attentive wait staff. We had a great meal and a great time. Try the Chicken scarpiello. YUM!

Dinner with my fiancee Pros: : -Greeted by the owner -Warm & authentic atmosphere -Server was the perfect balance between being attentive, creating conversation and yet allowing us to truly enjoy our dinner and time together - More than generous portion. We shared the Eggplant and Calamari apps. I had Chicken Francaise (excellent) (had espresso instead of dessert as we... More

We had a fabulous time at this delicious restaurant. The owner Louis was inviting and generous! Our server was funny, attentive, & knowledgeable. We had a theater show to attend, so they served us promptly and told us the best way to get to the show. We will definitely return! The food was well presented & excellent.

Excellent Italian Restaurant in the Gramercy Park area. They stay open late so ideal for after theater. The service was also very good with a friendly staff.

Eat here often with family. Good food, fine service, a lot of choices (and will customize for you). I usually have the Chicken Scarpariello, which is good but not great.

We have tried a number of restaurants whilst holidaying in the USA and stumbled across this gem whilst in the Gramercy Park neighbourhood. The service was fantastic and the food even better. The entree's were good, but the mains were superb. (My husband declared that his veal was the best he had ever had). In fact it was so good,... More

I've been going to Paul and Jimmy's for years, and it's always done well. The food is usually very good, as are the drinks. It's not noisy, either, which is wonderful. Hope to return again soon. By the way, the picture attached is totally wrong! P & J is an urban restaurant, and uses the full name.

My wife and I went here Friday, 3/8/13, not knowing anything about this place. Just walking down east 18 street and decided on this restaurant and we were pleased we did. Wonderful ambience set the tone along with polite and gracious hostess. In traditional Italian style, an all male waitstaff was very attentive. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and... More
