Good food and ambiance

Little Italy has many food choices. My wife and 10 year old visited on an ideal summer night. The adults had salads all three of us had pasta dishes. Our daughter rated her fettuccine alfredo a 10. Mom and dad's dishes, a gnocchi in cheese sauce and pasta with vegetables, were a 8.5. The adult... read more

Absolutely delicious, authentic Italian Restaurant. Outside seating, great wine in addition to the food. Less expensive than some of the restaurants in Little Italy! The owner Lunella is there making customers feel welcome. I'd go back tomorrow if I could, but Florida is a bit far for that. Walking distance from many hotels...

Me and my family ate lunch at this resturant. It was defenently not a good experience. The lasagne looked like it was cooked in the microwave, the waiter was rude and smelled of alcohol. This place has bad overpriced food and a horrible staff. Don't go here.

My daughter and I each had the Fettucine Alfredo. We both liked it a lot. The oil and bread were alright. We still had a piece of bread left that we might have eaten but then the waiter took the oil off our table and gave it to another table. After lingering for some time, I had to finally ask... More

Very attentive service. Willing to clean table right away for us. My husband had the veal and I had the lasagna. Very delicious but did leave still hungry.

We stopped by and was greeted and sat on the sidewalk. The appetizer was wonderful and the lunch was one of the best meals that we had. I would recommend this to anyone. Reasonable price and the food was fresh and great. See Lunella while you are there, she was very nice person.

Our party had lasagna, spaghetti, chicken parmesan, the eggplant special and the Capellini Primavera...all were delicious and especially fresh. Dessert was a canolli and the chocolate mousse cake...Wonderful! Ivan was our waiter and he was very attentive and thorough..we will return!

A good Italian restaurant among many others in Little Italy. Great bruschetta to start, and I followed this with carbonara, which was delicious - not 'claggy' at all - and my husband had ravioli which was also good. We accompanied this with a bottle of Chianti. For dessert I had a perfect creme caramel and my husband had panna cotta... More

After a disappointing afternoon (see separate review) we made our way to Little Italy and after running the gauntlet of numerous restaurant hustlers we reached Lunellas. Mama was front of house and made us welcome without any pressure - you like, you eat! The food was superb, the service was attentive under Mama's watchful eye and it was excellent value.... More

Lunella's in Little Italy was our choice for dinner. We started off with a stuffed clam appetizer which was fabulous. Our salads were fresh and delicious. Our main courses were the lobster ravioli and the carbonara pasta. Our serve was knowlegable and friendly. It was a wonderful evening meal.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
