Amazing restaurant but horible food

The restaurant it self was fun and full of fun things to see, but the food was a pile of rubbish, the best thing we had was the Mac and cheese form the kids menu! And on top of it all it was really expensive!

Our first night in town we stopped at planet Hollywood for dinner. Great vibe and decoration of the place. When you enter you have the chanche to take a picture with your group ($25 for 2 pic's) Service was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Mac and cheese was very good, ate at 3 different places during... More

The entry is not visible from Times Square, but on the 45st east. The place and the decoration are very nice, service is neat, music not too loud. Take care, arrive soon enough, otherwise the wait can be one hour! Nice meal, not so expensive. Bravo !

My daughter had the L.A. lasagna and I had the chicken, penne and broccoli in a cream sauce. The food was very good, the atmosphere was great. When we were going in they gave us a $10 off of $20 coupon. We spent $31 plus tip which I think is reasonable. We did drink water but we couldn't eat all... More

Went here for dinner 3 nights in a row, no table availability. Waiting time at least an hour! So, never got to eat here. Staff never offered a booking system for the following day ...maybe one day!

We visited this restaurant a few times and it was well worth the time. Their milkshakes are the best we've ever tasted and could be very addictive, very enjoyable. The menu is varied and every dish we tried was well prepared and tasty. The staff are efficient but not intrusive and willing to help with any questions about the selection... More

I have to start by saying I was given the wrong order. My husband ordered medium rare and I ordered well done (burger). It wasn't our waiter who brought the food but the man who did actually said "well done" and gave me the medium rare. I dont know if it was the fault of thr chef or waiter. I... More

This place is cool for what it is... Great setting to feel like you're experiencing America and the Hollywood vibe. It's not somewhere where I would normally eat but it was fun. Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and the food was good for what it was. Don't expect fine dining but simple food in huge portion sizes.

I guess you're paying for the atmosphere. 3 people in our party ordered burgers & French fries. The fries were ice cold & had to be sent back. The burgers were also cold but since we had a bus to catch we didn't have time to send them back so they ate them cold. When they complained to the waiter... More

I dined at Planet Hollywood because it was convenient and accommodates large parties. I must compliment the staff on the service. One employee in particular went out of his way to make sure people were having a great time. Thank you T.J. The atmosphere is as one would expect; loud music and a great deal of memorabilia to take in.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
