Sweet 16 dinner!

My niece picked this spot for her sweet sixteen dinner! She ordered the chicken tenders and didn't like them! I ordered the ribeye steak, baked potato and veggies! I enjoyed my food! The waiter was good and recommended items to us! If you been to any Planet Hollywood they are all about the same!

Planet Hollywood is a fun place to have lunch in Times Square but reservations are definitely recommended as the lines and wait times get very long. The restaurant is filled with movie memorabilia and large screen tvs play music videos and movie clips while you dine. The food is average - not fine dining - but it's a fun place.

Normal restaurant. Has some "bits and pieces" from some movies, but I didn't find it nothing special. Just another restaurant in NY!

I am about to re-state many of the recent reviews. This place is living off of its name. There is very little atmosphere, the food isn't of great quality and the staff offer no advice on portion sizes (they're massive). The end result is disappointed diners and a mountain of wasted food. Clearly PH aren't taking heed to their customer's... More

The atmosphere was poor not many customers. The food was average but highly priced. Drinks were also not cheap. The staff were really friendly and attentive. But I would rather spend money elsewhere.

Bland, mass produced food served by irritating staff desperate for a tip!! You're paying over the odds for the name and location. There are many better places off Times Square serving great food at half the price!

If enjoy looking at memorabilia then this is a great restaurant for you. I do like to look at memorabilia and will go to Planet Hollywood restaurants just for that. The food is typical burgers and fry and grilled chicken - nothing spectacular - but predictable.

Having gone here for dinner after a long day traveling, unfortunately I didn't get the dinner I was hoping for. The service was very fast and friendly. The restaurant itself was quite comfortable and in Times Square. But the food served was rather tasteless neither of us finished our dinner.

Visited last Thursday evening for dinner. The food was ok, but the service very poor. Had to wait a long time to be seated despite lots of empty tables, then a very long wait for food. Not happy about being interrupted during our meal by a man asking if we wanted to buy the photo taken of us when we... More

Recently visited this location. The food was average, nothing special. The service was average, nothing special. The prices not worth it, your paying for the name. There are many better restaurants in the area that offer the same type food at a more reasonable price, try one of the local pubs.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
