Typical theme restaurant

The food is nothing really special and if you've been to other Planet Hollywoods nothing here is much different. It seemed to be a bit overpriced also. New York City has so many different kinds of restaurants that this is one you could skip and not n=be disappointed.

Because of poor service we left a less than usual tip. The waiter added money to it. Service was slow, appetizer plates came after finished appetizers, was never asked how liked food or for refills. We did get a gift certficiate for a return visit, which we used just simply because it was a free meal. When we came back,... More

Service was slow, and they deliver wrong order. Though they replace it as soon as we told them. Interesting decor and we have to wait in line to get in.

My husband and I went to Planet Hollywood tonight for dinner. The restaurant was half empty and the hostess, Jenni, told us that the only thing available were table tops in the bar area. She then pointed which way we needed to go. As we were eating, we noticed people being seated at regular tables. It didn't appear that these... More

Not the same since it moved to Times Square!! Cool memorabilia from movies. Great hamburger. A little bit on the pricey side.

If your answer is yes, than you should visit Planet Hollywood in New York City. Silvester Stallone will receive you just at the entrance. While walking the up the stairs enjoy all the accessories & costumes used in several famous movies....... Enjoy.....

I've been a few times and service is always great, food is good. My favorite drink there is the Pretty in Pink. Of course its too touristy, but its fun to go.

The name Planet Hollywood conjurs up images of actors, movies and props. Years ago, they used to have interesting props. Now it is mostly a missed opportunity. Even the TV screens are used mostly to show sports events. Staff were friendly and my snack was tasty enough. But I won't be back.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
