Great atmosphere, very good Mexican eats and drinks

Had a late night dinner here with friends and family. the guacamole was awesome, I practically licked the bowl clean. The appitizer quesadilla was equally yummy. Also had enchiladas, my go to choice at Mexican restaurants, and these were some of the best. They also have a grest selection of margaritas made with a multitude of different fresh juices, blood... Great food especially the guacamole, burritos, calamari and shrimp. The service was very friendly with a laid back vibe. They offer a good range of margaritas, sparkling wine and other cocktails so there's something for everyone. Would definitely come back

My last visit was 6 months ago. The standard of food and drink I am pleased to say has remained the same - excellent. The staff are warm and attentive. And they bring you tacos with a delicious salsa while you wait for your food. Try anything on the menu - it is all really good.

We really enjoyed our visit to Rocking Horse. The waiter was very friendly and charming, offering guidance on the menu and making good conversation. The restaurant captures the vibrancy of the food well in it's decor - we enjoyed an impromptu late night visit which made for a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was very, very tasty and felt fresh.... More

In my point of view,This restaurant isn’t mexican restaurant. If you are from California you can’t eat this restaurant burrito. This restaurant chef should go to Tacos del Gordo in Mercado Hidalgo. This restaurant chef must remember Mexican taste. I think this burrito lacks taste ...taste bad awful. Tortilla also bad taste..I was really disappointed...my bad memory. When I read these... More

We met up with some friends here on our first night in NYC, who mentioned that this was one of the longest running restaurants in Chelsea. It's easy to see why! The drinks were good and the food even better. Simple but really tasty and great portion sizes. The service was also a near-perfect blend of friendly, helpful and patient,... More

This is for drinks only. There is no happy hour. Saturday evening around 6:30 for drinks. If you get drinks only, you have to sit at the bar. Complimentary chips and salsa provided, though, which is nice. There were some people, but it wasn't packed at the bar. We managed to get 3 seats to give you an idea. But... More
