A Gem in Chelsea

Happened upon this place as it was near our hotel. Do not be put off by the outside! The interior is smart, clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! I had the Tom Yam soup followed by the mixed seafood with ginger and rice absolutely faultless. We weren't drinking alcohol but as normal... read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant walking around Chelsea. Had the special lunch menu. The meal cost around £22 for 3 people. Service was great and the food was as good as any Thai food we've ever had.

So fresh, authentic, great service. They deliver as well. There are numerous Thai places in Chelsea, but this is by far the best!

Originally planned to eat lunch at Chelsea Market, however wrong choice on Saturday. Walked around to look for a place to eat and found this wonderful little restaurant. Service was great and best Thai food so far.

Not a fancy place, but the curry was solid. Waitstaff was nice and the food came to the table super quickly.

Went to the Royal SIAM Thai cuisine for dinner at about 18:00. Food was OK, as was the service. Payed the bill with a credit card, and was going to leave a cash tip. I went to the bathroom with my 7 year old sun, but when I left the bathroom the waitress was waiting with my bill saying that... More

Standard Thai selection right on 8th avenue. Very reasonably priced given the location. Standard curry, pad Thai, dumplings etc...food didn't impress me. Service was prompt and friendly. Decent wine by the glass selection.

New York City is filled with great, delicious restaurants. The challenge is to find a great restaurant that’s also modestly priced. We hit the jackpot with the Royal Siam. In business since 1993, the restaurant has survived in the highly competitive Chelsea neighborhood by serving wonderful food—with an extensive menu, attention to artful presentation, abundant portions, and skillful, varied flavors.... We stumbled on this place on a cold February evening, so started by ordering some warm sake (confusingly Japanese, not Thai). The menu was quite large. I had the vegetable dumplings which were lovely, and the garlic ginger tofu was well cooked. I was offers a choice of white or brown rice, which was novel for me. I opted for... More

We have never been to a Thai restaurant before and was a little hesitant today, especially it being Valentines Day. It was delicious!! Service was very good service. Just happened to walk by and so glad we stopped. Prices are very reasonable - will definitely come back next time we are in town!
