Good, hearty Thai food moderately priced

The restaurant has a good array of Asian fusion selections, including the latest addition, Sushi. Good for vegetarians as well as fish and meat eaters. Wine and beer are served, as well...

We've been here a few times over the years when we're in Chelsea. When we arrive on Sunday evening with 2 kids, it's snowing, we're running late for the bus, and pulling luggage. We ask the server if she thinks we we can get in and out in 30 min. She says "Yes" with hardly a pause. Not much more... More

I have been to the Royal Siam many times over the last 5-7 years; it is consistently reliable -- in terms of food quality, service and cost. Also, I love the fact that it is never noisy --- one can always visit easily with others at the table.

My husband and I went to Royal Siam Thai cuisine for dinner and we had a wonderful meal. We started with the steamed dumplings and Tom Kha gai soup, and they were both delicious! Royal Siam duck and Coconut chicken were also excellent. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend dining here.

We were quite happy to find this restaurant on our first evening in NYC, without having done any research. The two dishes we ordered, shrimp with avocado, and eggplant with tofu, were very savory and generously proportioned. The nigori sake was likewise delicious. Prices were more reasonable than we expected, and the servers were very friendly and helpful. We would... More

We had take-out and perhaps it suffered a little in transit, even if we were only one block away. The tastes were sweet and insipid and quite unlike the Thai food we've been served in Australia. Otherwise, it's standard Thai-style food.

My wife got the basil tofu. It was very over-sauced and swimming in oil. My fried rice was barely fried. I don't think it was unsafe to eat but certainly way undercooked in terms of what the dish calls for. Neither of us ate our food. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was quite disappointed by this place. I needed a quick bite to eat after returning from work and thought that I should try this place out because my usual go-to eateries would probably get tired of seeing me. I probably should have just gone to where I usually go after coming here. I had ordered the pad thai to... More

A delightful Thai restaurant in Chelsea. The mango salad is a burst of fresh flavors. Our entrees were just as tasty as the Thai food I have eaten in Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Portions were big enough that we had to decline dessert of mango sticky rice to my chagrin Service was exemplary.

Stumbled upon this restaurant walking around Chelsea. Had the special lunch menu. The meal cost around £22 for 3 people. Service was great and the food was as good as any Thai food we've ever had.
