Description: Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo...
Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo. The Restaurant quickly became a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices to local denizens. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Tripling our space and adding abundant sunlight and windows, Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, fresh pasta, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. We make the effort to ensure our produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones. We are now in our fourth decade of serving healthy natural cuisine and still going strong. We offer a wide range of choices from completely vegan macrobiotic plates to sandwiches, salads, and innovative entrees with vegetarian, seafood and poultry choices. Be sure to check out our daily specials and join us for weekend Brunch, enjoy.

Best salad ever ever!!!

I loved so much this restaurant that I ate there 3 times in a week on my last trip to NYC. Can't describe how fresh and lovely is the food there. It's a place full of locals, so you feel like home right in the headt of soho!

After a long walk in snowy Soho, through Chinatown and Little Italy, we ended up at "The Spring Street Natural" eatery. The lovely sage green paint, twinkly lights and busyness attracted us in from the cold. It didn't disappoint. Although a vegan vegetarian restaurant, we both had the burgers (grass fed cattle). Rioja Crianza (our favourite) - which we haven't... More

I confess that 2.30 pm on December 23rd may not find a New York restaurant at its best. but nothing on our visit inspired us with much except morbid curiousity about what goes on in the kitchen. Nothing very encouraging is the answer if all you want is quick service of a decent snack. We weren't looking for anything special:... More

We spent a weekend in the city and rented an apartment across the street from this restaurant. We went there for breakfast. There were four of us and everyone was delighted except me. My eggs were overcooked. I should have sent them back. Overall, it was a great breakfast and at prices we would pay for breakfast in Florida, so... More

We ate here as thought it looked inviting whilst passing. We had noticed the previous day at lunchtime people were queuing out the door to get in but when we went at 5pm it was reasonably quiet. Inside it was warm friendly and welcoming. Grilled chicken sandwich was really tasty and the fries were amazing! Reasonably priced and friendly staff.... More

This is just a bad fast food dressed up like a casual restaurant, with cold bad food. New York is full of restaurants, go somewhere else!

Spring Street Natural Restaurant is well located in Soho. The food is tasty and healthy. The atmosphere is vibrant and the service quite good. There is often live music at night.

I really enjoyed the food, presentation and the ambience. I think there is large selection of choice and my breakfast burrito was quite good, a tad small in portion but was worth it's price.

I visited last Saturday with my 2 daughters. It was a beautiful sunny day and the restaurant was very busy. There was a good choice on the menu and service was excellent. I have to mention the tomato and rosemary bread - it was so tasty! There was an excellent choice of freshly squeezed juices which were delicious.

Four of us for lunch.....sat inside because outside tables were filled. I had the veggie burger which comes with sweet potato fries. It was very good....I think there were almonds in there to give it some crunch. Friends had the chicken and tofu salad which was also good but she thought just a little too much tofu. Service was good... More
