Description: Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo. The Restaurant quickly became a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices to local denizens. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Tripling our space and adding abundant sunlight and windows, Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, fresh pasta, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. We make the effort to ensure our produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones. We are now in our fourth decade of serving healthy natural cuisine and still going strong. We offer a wide range of choices from completely vegan macrobiotic plates to sandwiches, salads, and innovative entrees with vegetarian, seafood and poultry choices. Be sure to check out our daily specials and join us for weekend Brunch, enjoy.

This is just a bad fast food dressed up like a casual restaurant, with cold bad food. New York is full of restaurants, go somewhere else!

Spring Street Natural Restaurant is well located in Soho. The food is tasty and healthy. The atmosphere is vibrant and the service quite good. There is often live music at night.

I really enjoyed the food, presentation and the ambience. I think there is large selection of choice and my breakfast burrito was quite good, a tad small in portion but was worth it's price.

I visited last Saturday with my 2 daughters. It was a beautiful sunny day and the restaurant was very busy. There was a good choice on the menu and service was excellent. I have to mention the tomato and rosemary bread - it was so tasty! There was an excellent choice of freshly squeezed juices which were delicious.

Four of us for lunch.....sat inside because outside tables were filled. I had the veggie burger which comes with sweet potato fries. It was very good....I think there were almonds in there to give it some crunch. Friends had the chicken and tofu salad which was also good but she thought just a little too much tofu. Service was good... More

Four friends met here for brunch. The menu had a little of everything - I had the Mayan eggs (corn tortillas, black beans, eggs, cheese) which were excellent. Then I tasted the freshly squeezed OJ - it was the best OJ I have ever tasted. Really! My friends all enjoyed their various meals - omelets, eggs benedict. It is a... More

Staff at the nearby Holiday Inn SOHO directed us to Spring Street Natural Restaurant. This was an inspired choice for us; two very tired international travelers. The corner location, with large windows, is great for that NY pastime, people watching, in this bustling precinct. The menu we found both unique and delicious and encouraged us to make this our dining... More

My husband and I visited this location on Saturday and I was delighted! I had an amazing organic stir fry with sauteed chicken and brown rice. It was wonderful and I would highly recommend it. My husband ordered a salad...which I sampled and enjoyed as well. When I head back to N.Y., I will make sure I stop here again.... More

This is a very comfortable, easy restaurant with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Last evening I sat outside on a lovely October evening and had a faro vegetable soup that was wonderful along with an "Asian salad" with a lovely miso dressing. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavor. They even have great iced tea. The restaurant has... More

My husband and I visited Spring Street Natural based on some decent online reviews and I have to say that it was probably the worst meal we have had in New York. We initially took a table outside but following a 20minute wait for someone to take our order we decided to re-locate inside. The service was marginally better indoors.... More
