Description: Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo...
Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo. The Restaurant quickly became a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices to local denizens. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Tripling our space and adding abundant sunlight and windows, Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, fresh pasta, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. We make the effort to ensure our produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones. We are now in our fourth decade of serving healthy natural cuisine and still going strong. We offer a wide range of choices from completely vegan macrobiotic plates to sandwiches, salads, and innovative entrees with vegetarian, seafood and poultry choices. Be sure to check out our daily specials and join us for weekend Brunch, enjoy.

Good for lunch

In the crowded and touristy SOHO area, this proved to be a nice place for lunch. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and crowded. The food was decent and the wait staff was attentive. I would go again.

When in NYC last week, we were just around the corner from Spring St Natural, and visited a total of four times: twice for breakfast, twice for supper. The service was always friendly and swift, the food good and the portions massive. We took a doggy bag home from both suppers. We had two vegetarians in our party, and there... More

The food is good! It definitely isn't the most exciting meal I have had, but it was tasty enough. The restaurant layout is very nice and they have an adorable bar to enjoy drinks at. I LOVED the drinks. Overall, its the location that really makes it a nice spot to dine. I would recommend.

Ate lunch here on a Satruday. Had the Belgian hot chocolate (very good!) and the organic tofu scramble which was excellent - it was served with greens and organic brown rice with a nice sauce. The entire dish was very flavourful. Despite the venue being huge, it was packed and I sat at the bar. Service was prompt and friendly.... More

They don't have Chardonnay. That's a bit of a rub for 2 ladies taking a shopping break! They have pretty much EVERY other option, though! Good food. Came out quickly. Great brunch menu. Very packed so better if you're OK with sitting at the bar. We'll be back.

I always enjoy Spring Street Natural – there’s such a wide variety of food choices, the staff is very nice, and the food is consistently good. There are plenty of vegetarian as well as vegan offerings. Last night with I was with a Finnish friend and we sat down to a nice warm table for two in the middle of... More

I loved so much this restaurant that I ate there 3 times in a week on my last trip to NYC. Can't describe how fresh and lovely is the food there. It's a place full of locals, so you feel like home right in the headt of soho!
