Description: Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo...
Spring Street Natural Restaurant was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo. The Restaurant quickly became a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices to local denizens. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Tripling our space and adding abundant sunlight and windows, Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta. Our philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, fresh pasta, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. We make the effort to ensure our produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones. We are now in our fourth decade of serving healthy natural cuisine and still going strong. We offer a wide range of choices from completely vegan macrobiotic plates to sandwiches, salads, and innovative entrees with vegetarian, seafood and poultry choices. Be sure to check out our daily specials and join us for weekend Brunch, enjoy.

Good burgers

My family, 2 adults, 2 kids, enjoyed eating at Sprint St. Natural Restaurant in SoHo. My chicken burger was good and my son raved about his hamburger. They use a special grind of several cuts to make the hamburger. My family has food sensitivities. The server noted our modifications to the... read more

Spring Street Natural has been around for many years and with good reason. They offer great food in an atmosphere that is comfortable and quiet enough to hear your dining partner talk to you. I have ordered their salads, omelettes, sandwiches, vegetables over rice - all excellent. Most recently I had their chicken burger which has melted cheese and crispy... More

Great place to come for lunch or brunch on the weekends. Extensive menu that should be pleasing for almost everyone. Some of my favorite dishes include the Breakfast Burrito with Vegan Apple Sausage, Organic Quinoa Salad, and the Scrambled Tofu.

I love this place - its quite spacious and has a great ambiance to it. Service is fantastic. They have a great lunch menu and the prices are very reasonable. Fantastic salads - I've tried several now and they are all super fresh. By far my favorite part of the meal is always the pumpkin bread they bring out (i... More

The food was fabulous and the staff went out of their way to accommodate a large group students and their chaperones who arrived late due to traffic and had to leave within a short period of time. The staff provided delicious food, beyond my expectations, and boxed up dessert so the students could take it with them. This restaurant showed... More

While in the Soho neighborhood my husband and I ate a late lunch at Spring Street Natural Restaurant as it was recommended to us by a shop keeper as a good place to have vegetarian food. We ordered the Vegetable Spring Rolls which were to come prior to the main meal. The waitress did not bring them before or with... More

We popped in for brunch on a hot June day and were pleasantly surprised to be seated almost immediately (particularly when we were told there was a wait list of 16 groups for then outside tables - they never apparently showed!). The staff were fast and efficient and the room is lovely - bright and airy with plenty of buzz... More

My associate and I were walking by and thought we would give Spring Street a try we were seated in a corner which looked out on the street and was somewhat isolated which gave us a private little alcove to have our business conversations. I had an omelette and Cappuccino, both good choices. Very pleasant and attentive service, reasonable prices,... More

If you are feeling guilty about your calorie count this is the place to have a nice salad lunch (and more) in SOHO. Great variety of salads.
