Awesome dinner for business traveler

Eating dinner alone when traveling for work is not usually fun but I had a terrific night here. From the time I walked in, I felt comfortable despite how crowded the place was. The hosts were so accommodating and found me a table at the bar as I requested. Once seated, I was doted upon (but not... read more

We had been for a lunch earlier this year and we were satisfied. We decided to return this time for an evening meal as the restaurant is very convenient to Carnegie Hall and we were attending a concert as before. We ordered a salad of beets and greens and what arrived was very small and certainly was not what worth... More

This restaurant is right accros carnagie hall and reservations are advisable. You will be greats as soon as you walk in and promptly seated there are a couple of rooms for dinner and this place can be crowded, the level noise is a 5 from a 1-10'scale (10 being too loud) , a bit pricey. the food was good if... Food is excellent, albeit a little pricey but quality very good. Staff are very friendly and we were met with a very warm welcome. Great wine! Would highly recommend this place.

Friday,20 March, we had(a great!) lunch for three (for which I have paid 168$) in the Trattoria dell Arte (with Mr Steven H a long time customer of yours) and it was the unfortunate me who found wet black underwear under our table as we were leaving. I fail to think it was my black hat and picked it up... More

The service, the staff, the food, the decor. Absolutely the best restaurant I have ever been to. This has to be one of the finest restaurants in the WORLD! Whenever we are in New York, we WILL come here.

If you appreciate Real Italian food, you WON'T enjoy this restaurant. The first courses where made from very poor ingredients, we got a fake Burata and 2 hours old cold asparagus. For the main course we ordered Pizza Margarita, unfortunately we got a half baked tortilla with burned edges. This restaurant is mainly for out of town tourists. The service... More

The service is incredible the food is the finest Italian I have been too. Being in a regular visitor of Sicily this place is a credit to top quality food. I know a good cannoli as it has to be fresh ricotta cream and bingo these boys delivered. Highly recommend !

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
