We were in town for a trade show and walked by this place a few times. We decided to try it and it was just average. I guess in New York I have higher expectations. Place does have classic charm and feels like it should be awesome. Unfortunately it just fell short. The ribeye was what I thought was just... More

Beautiful steaks that are lovingly prepared. Attentive staff and an olde worlde interior. Quality breaths from every pore of this experience. Its moderately expensive to expensive depending on your choices. If you like steak with good wine you will love this place.

We waited 20 minutes for even water to arrive never mind our drinks. It was nearly 1hr 30 mins before food arrived. 3 steaks were great but one was sinewy, the broccoli and asparagus were undercooked. It was completely underwhelming. We were given three tiny sample desserts and an apology as appeasement but hardly enough in the circumstances

I have been to a good number of steakhouses in NYC, having lived and worked in NYC, and have been to Uncle Jacks a few times since it opened on 9th Ave. At a NYC steakhouse, you expect a great steak, and just as important you expect great service. To the general manager Mohammed, you are the main reason I... More

A nice steakhouse we went to the one in midtown, it wasn't too busy for a Saturday night. The waiting staff were attentive but instrusive as some people seemed to have found. The cost in GBP was about £25-£30 for a steak and £8-£10 for a dessert I think the quality of food was deserving of the cost. The decor... More

WE went Christmas day evening for their special menu. The steak was amazing. I used my fork to cut it and it melted in my mouth. Best ever!

I did quite a bit of research before booking this meal. Both me and my partner are huge steak fans so we were really looking forward to a great steak in NYC on Xmas Eve. Unfortunately the food just didnt live up to the hype. The restaurant itself looked really nice - quite posh in fact. And the service -... More

Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown.
