We found uncle Jacks Steak House while walking down 9th Ave, we read the Menu and decided to call in that evening. As we hadn't booked we had to wait at the bar for about 30 mins, but the staff kept us informed to when there would be a free table. The staff were excellent, the service was very good.... More

Our 2nd night of NYC steakhouse tour. Wife and I split the bone in ribeye. Started with wedge salad and had asparagus and garlic potatoes as sides. The salad was good, nothing out of the ordinary. Ordered the steak med rare and it was closer to medium, still delicious and I recommend it. The potatoes were very good. Asparagus was... More

Excellent! From the Filet Mignon, to the lobster, to those awesome garlic mashed potatoes worth very penny! The atmosphere, the waiter, the Entire thing was great! Don't forget desert, the creme brûlée, chocolate soufflé. The hotel made the reservations for us, we had no idea it was a reality show restaurant thing, so we were very surprised when we found... Solid business lunch, took about 2 hours but wee never rushed. Servers couldn't do enough for us and we're very professional. Had lunch 'surf and turf' - perfect. Not too much, not too little. A little cappuccino and away we went. Bottle of wine to couldn't have been at a better room temperature. If you want to get away from... More

My sister and walked by here after getting off our buses at Port Authority. We noticed that they offered a $29.95 prix fixe lunch(cheap for midtown). We each began our meal with lollipop lamb chops. We then had Caesar salads and then had the New York strip that came with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The food was delicious and... More

Close to Madison Square Garden, Uncle Jack's Steakhouse is perfectly placed for an after event dinner. In our case we watched the New York Knicks play badly against the Heat. But back to the restaurant, if you're looking for the famous New York steak, Uncle Jack's won't disappoint. My 26 ounce rib eye was first class as was the porterhouse... More

Steak was OK (why are New York steaks inferior to Chicago's) Not excellent Wedge salad was tasty Brussel sprouts with bacon was a bit too al dente for my tastes Service only serviceable. One problem (which may seem minor but it was annoying) is that the bread offered at the table was stale and too chewy. Is it so hard... More

We went for our 25 th wedding anniversary. The service, food, and atmosphere were all superb and we thought the price was surprisingly reasonable. Looking forward to going again on our next trip to New York.

The overall experience was great, including the food and service. This was my first visit, and probably my last. For the price, I would go back to Keen's.
