Loved everything. Price was very reasonable. Staff was great polite. Actually gives you good amount of alcohol in their drinks unlike most places in NYC

While Uncle Jack's owner may speak of excellent service as a key to restaurant success, he may need to return to his NYC restaurant to do some checking. The steaks were exceptional, as were the appetizers and dessert tray we had but the service was disinterested at best. The waiters seemed to be in "discussion" as to who did what... More

I've come to know this establishment by watching Willy Degel's show, "Restaurant Stakeout," where he helps struggling restaurant owners find the source of their declining business.  Service was impeccable, but the food wasn't the best I've eaten, especially the steak. My husband and I both ordered the 16 oz. NY Strip Steak, and it was too seared for me. I... More

A Good spot to dine on 56 th Street when you have not planned where to go. Yesterday I dropped into this place where I had occasionally dined before. THey have excellent lunch specials daily that I noted but I opted for the Wagu meat loaf and was not disappointed. The meat was excellently cooked and served with very well... More

Although the food was nice, we left a little disappointed. We were aware of the rates going in, which in turn meant we had expectations. The staff met our expectation, although they struggled a bit with the wine. The letdown however was the food, as it was a little overcooked. This was not only the case with the meat, but... More

We happened upon this restaurant in Hell's Kitchen and had a very good lunch. The beers were cold, the hamburger amazing, the salmon a bit "fishy". We decided to go back and try them for dinner a few nights later. The setting is very nice (masculine, warm woods, high end service) but we were a little disappointed in our over-all... More

Great steakhouse, great food, great atmosphere. A must-go place while in Manhattan and well-worth the money in value and experience. Uncle Jack’s is very clean but with a traditional steakhouse ambiance and very well-set in the NY theme. The staff was a bit unknowledgeable about specifics on the menu and how dishes were prepared but maybe she was new or... More

Was excited to eat here because of Restaurant Takeover. The service was fantastic, the sides and desserts delicious. However the beef was mediocre at best. 3 of the 4 steaks were a poor cut of meat and they were all over cooked. I would hope that this is an anomaly but when you drop over $300 on a meal, it... More

I had dinner this Saturday evening 7/12 with a family member and was quite impressed with this restaurant. The food was great and the service was excellent. This was the first time using a groupon certificate and wasn't sure what to expect. Immediately upon arrival, we were nicely & friendly greeted by Jose and 2 very friendly hostesses. Our waiter... We went here for lunch on a whim. From the moment we entered, we were treated like royalty. The food was wonderful and the waiter was very accommodating. While the prices were a little high, the qualitywas excellent. We'd definitely return.
