Best staff around

Food was better than average but it's the staff that was truly top knotch. We were a large group and the waiters hustled and were gracious.

Went here on the night i arrived back in Nov 2014. Superb atmosphere at the bar. I didnt use the restaurant, but instead sat at the bar awaiting my friends arrival. In the meantime i made the mistake of ordering a double g and t. Why bother?! The measured in the States so big anyway! I had arrived at teatime... More

We were here with 12 friends after a track meet at the Armory. I had shepherds pie and really liked it. It is a loud place but everyone was having fun. Many beer choices.

Excellent food and drink in an upscale pub atmosphere. Try the sizzling steak, a signature dish that is excellent. Service is friendly and efficient. One drawback is lack of parking in this crowded NYC neighborhood.

The place feels like a cozy neighborhood spot...almost like "Cheers." I enjoyed the shrimp scampi, and the dessert was sinfully good!

Something warm and refreshing about this place. Maybe because one of the three owners is a woman. This sports bar is civilized. There is a separate space for event planning. The food is good a little salty for my taste and the salmon was under cooked, but everything was well presented for a bar scene. The walls are full of... More

We went for brunch on a Saturday. We were six people in our group. We had a waiter that my family was familiar with and he was very friendly. Extensive menu. $3 Mimosas were good. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal.

This place is great to get a drink or go on a date. Saturday night is usually pack after 10pm. Food okay. But summer is good because you have the decision to eat outside. Enjoy

A friend told me about this place. So on a cool winter days I walked up through Central Park from West 51st Street. As the temperature began to drop and the wind kicked up I began to think about finding the subway but persisted in walking. It was worth the walk. The ambiance is on of good times with good... More

We stopped here one afternoon for appetizers and drinks and found the visit very enjoyable. The waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. The appetizers were good, but watching people walk by was the best part. I would return to Coogan's the next time I am visiting NYC.
