For over 12 years, Talia's Steakhouse has continuously reinvented the strictly Glatt kosher restaurant as a hip, modern place, where everyone will feel welcome: from Chabad and Satmer Chasidim to Modern Orthodox, secular Jews, non-Jewish customers and all other ethnic groups, Talia's has something for everyone. With so many repeat customers and fans, it's no wonder that Talia's Steakhouse has built such a "Haute" reputation. As one customer puts it: " You oughtta be the best, most progressive-still-frum place." Talia's appeal reaches far outside of its Upper West Side location with its two unique dinner and brunch menus offering a gourmet selection of prime rib, filet mignon, duck, whole branzino, homemade hummus, Belgian waffles, shakshouka, non-dairy tofu cheeseburger and more. Where else can you sip a cocktail at midnight while catching a cool breeze at Talia's Outdoor Cafe or enjoy a ball game on a large screen TV while eating a delicious, mouthwatering kosher steak. Talia's is a great spot to take your wife or girlfriend out to dinner. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere, dimly-lit, candles and fresh roses on each table, mellow live music and a wonderful blend of American and Middle-Eastern cuisines. She will be talking about her special evening for weeks to come. In addition, Saturday nights all year round, Talia's transforms into a romantic lounge where people from all over come to reconnect with old friends and meet new and exciting people.

Very good kosher steak house

We had not been for a while -- most of our dinner experiences there have been positive; a few have not been. This time we were both quite satisfied --- each of us had the grilled prime rib and were quite satisfied. The service was pleasant and prompt. Held a silver anniversary party with 19 people here and every person who attended thought it was the perfect place! The food was so good - I loved the stuffed mushrooms to start! - and the staff was so nice. Just terrific! Thank you, Talia's.

This is a multi-faceted review with few . . . actually only one highlight, our server Christa (I think her name was). To start off, street parking was pretty easy. We were greeted and seated by the manager that day, he was rude obnoxious and arrogant. He had (if you can imagine), the classic Italian New Yorker attitude portrayed in... More

Hi Tony, It sounds to us that unfortunately you joined us on a really off night. While we are pleased that you did find your server pleasant and accommodating, we are very sorry that you had other issues pertaining to the manager / hostess. We take all feedback very seriously, and have addressed all of your points with the necessary... More

this restaurant is open late which is a bonus if you work late and want to go out to eat. they also have tv's so if you are a sports fan you can watch and eat at the same time. The drinks are good, food is pretty good. It's not outstanding but the service is good and it's a good... More

Couple at the next table received the appetizer at the same time that we did, but they ended up finishing their entire meal before our entree arrived. My steak was overcooked although I had ordered medium rare. They did offer to redo the meal, but the delay had already been so long that we declined. The salmon that my wife... More

Dear Chuck, It is unfortunate to read the review of your recent visit. Talia's is pleased to partner with Groupon, in order to bring great deals to our customers, although we do apologize if you had some issues. As we cook our meals fresh to order, it is never guaranteed that guests will be served in the order in which... More

I have given this restaurant multiple opportunities to prove to me why it is consistently busy with the patrons. The only conclusion I can come up with is its relatively decent pricing for a kosher restaurant meal. Portions are not particularly generous but then again, not so sure that I want them to be given the caliber of the food.... More

The food here is decent of good value. I also like the outdoor seating and the live music that they often have. That being said, every time I go there is some issue with the waiters - they consistently mess up orders and then have bad attitudes about it. The owner is a nice guy who usually makes things right,... More

Talia’s Steakhouse is so much fun to go to! They are one of the few kosher places open until 4 a.m. on Saturday night. Plus, they will keep serving food and drinks until it is time for them to prepare to close. They have a full bar, beers, wines, and cocktails available…the prices are reasonable too! I love, love, love... More

True, my demands are high. As a person who lived 25 years in Israel I know exactly how Mediterranean cuisine should be.
