A few weeks ago my wife and i went to brunch at Talia's and the entire experience was amazing. The weather was nice and we weer able to sit on the porch to eat. Before we ate fresh pita was put out and flavored margarinew or olive oil with spices. I had brisket hash with eggs and my wife had... More

We had a rental apartment on the upper Westside so in exploring the area we came across Talia' Steakhouse. It is at 668 Amsterdam Ave. The night we were there there was a 3 piece band. The food is good as\is the ambience. It is glatt kosher but the patrons are from everywhere. An additional plus is that it is... More

We wanted quite badly for Talia to do well, since it's in our neighborhood. The bread we started with was good. However, from that point on, we waited a full 45 minutes for our appetizer. We had to ask a few times about it and did not get a single apology. We were offered complimentary drinks, but frankly, we were... More

From the friendly greeting, friendly staff, delicious appetizers and perfectly cooked steaks (all 4 of us), to the really nice live background music--a perfect family evening. Would certainly go back.

After reading a lot about this place, I was hoping for much better experience. While I can't say the food was bad, but for the price, it was just average. So was the ambiance. The tables are too close, even though the place wasn't packed when we were there. You could here every word of the conversation at the tables... More

We had an early dinner at Talia's Steakhouse over Memorial Day weekend. We were able to be seated outside which was pleasant, considering the superb weather, and our waiter was excellent. However, the food was sub-par. My wife ordered Chicken Marsella which was supposed to be chicken breast, however it was clearly dark meat chicken and she was not able... More

Stopped in to Talia's about two years after our last visit (also a disappointment but at least we got to eat that time). It was a sunny Memorial Day and we were excited to sit outside and eat a burger etc. There are like only two kosher restaurants in NYC with outdoor seating and this is one of them. We... More

The review says it all. Ordered a filet mignon at 7:30pm and they had none left. Server then said don't do the ribeye, it's the smallest ribeye I have ever seen. I then ask what the butchers cut is, she replies by saying I don't know and then runs to ask the chef. The explanation didn't make sense. But I... More

Having read many reviews on both Trip Advisor and Yelp, I was a bit leery about heading to Talia's for Mother's Day Brunch. A member of our family will only eat Glatt Kosher so we chose Talia's for Mother's Day. It was actually quite good. To start things off we found a Groupon for Talia's the night before (Brunch for...
