This is the restaurant, very near Bloomingdales, that I visit every time I am in New York. On this occasion I went at lunchtime and found that they were doing a special prix fixe lunch for $19.55, apparently to celebrate being opened in 1955 ($19.55 = 1955). My husband and I enjoyed our dinner to the fullest! We loved the food and atmosphere.... even thought we were in Europe at one point! Everything is excellent and we highly recommend the pasta dishes! Can't wait to go back! more

We love Isle of Capri, and return for at least one meal every time we visit New York. The food is consistently good, and the service is charming. It is a very good value for your dollar, especially given the extraordinary prices of most New York restaurants. more

You must go and have a glass of lemoncello....ridiculously good! Also, go downstairs to the bathroom so you can check out the cool "caves" more

Another old time fave--old fashioned in food, decor & service but in a good way. A very good choice near Bloomie's. They make a great zuppa di pesce! more
