The quintessential NYC tourist trap with deceptive pricing and substandard pizza. Almost everything advertised is bait and switch. If you look at the small print on the ads behind the cashier for their package deals it advertises 3 toppings and 2 topping pkg prices yet most of what is available is 3 toppings and you need a microscope to see... I've been on a search for good New York pizza since I arrived 4 days ago, I passed by this place on my way to Times Square from my hotel several times and was a little apprehensive. Decided to try it after a tour guide highly recommended it. I ordered a medium Ray's special and Lasagna pizza pie, medium is... More

if you order by the slice realize the pizza has been sitting for a few hours so it is what it is. I think you would be better off ordering a pizza. The slices just get thrown in the oven for a minute and that's it. Nothing special about this place at all. The slices were decent, but nothing to... More

This was right down the street from my hotel, so when I wanted something quick to go, I popped in here for a slice. I got their Hawaiian. The pizza was already made and sitting out - so not sure how long it had been there. They warmed it up and that was it. It was pretty tasty, and actually... More

Don't expect great service or a lot of room in this little pizzeria, but then again, you are going for the food, and that is what you will get - GREAT PIZZA. Crust is thin, but not too thin, and the slices are big. Least expensive meal we had on the whole outing.

When I'm in NYC, I always have to have a Slice of FAMOUS ORIGINAL RAY'S PIZZA. The best pizza I've had in NYC. The Chicken Wings at Ray's are also very good.

This was convenient to our hotel and by the subway. It seemed to be busy which we thought was a good sign. Wrong. They sell by the slice and they reheat it. Most of the seating is upstairs at long tables. People are staring at you for your seats while you eat. While we were there a large group of... More

We ordered from the made up pizzas. They slices we wanted were heated and delivered timely. The seating area was a standard but clean setup. During our stay a purse snatching occurred. The restaurant was everything I expected of a New York pizza place.

Called into Rays one evening just for a slice on our way to a broadway show and got the most delicious pizza. We were holding out initially for a pizza in a place in Brooklyn that was "world famous" but this place surpassed it easily.
