I only had a cheese slice but all I can say was it must have been the 'original' as it tasted awful. There is a lot you can do with a margherita pizza, just a pity that these guys don't.

The food was OK. Honestly I've had better New York style pizza in my hometown Ohio. Just my two cents, but it is what it is..

We stopped in for a quick bite before a Radio City show and were rewarded with large pieces of delicious pizza. The variety of specialty toppings (including chicken with wing sauce) pleased everyone in our 10 person group. The service was quick and friendly. The seating area is small, but they can easily fit about 30 people in the rear... More

people say new york is the city of pizza and visiting Ray it is a must. that is not true. although Ray appeared in a movie but that doesn't make it one of the best pizza restaurant. it doesn't have a special taste or service. very ordinary in everything. i didn't like the experience.

**DO NOT EAT HERE** Worst pizza I have EVER HAD, and it was $14 for two slices. What a joke! They will LIE to you and tell you they are out of pepperoni or plain to force you to buy a more expensive specialty slice (They did this to me, and if you read other reviews to many others). $14... More

For 20 years, my wife and I have been making trips to NYC to absorb a little culture and enjoy what Broadway has to offer, particularly musical theater. We like to spend our money on entertainment rather than busting the bank on high priced meals for average food. On one of our first trips, we discovered Ray's Pizza as it... More

I have eaten at Ray's on every trip to the city and I expect more. The pizza was sub standard and the garlic knots were bland and nothing special. Either they have changed recipes or having a very off day.

I have been here my last two trips to NYC. The pizza is delicious, they have a huge selection to choose from (including pastas), the prices are reasonable, and the staff is great! If you're in Times Square and looking for pizza, this is the place!

After looking at the line of over 200 people outside Carnegie Deli, (really, for a sandwich??) we decided to go somewhere else and found Ray's Pizza. It was the best pizza I'd had in NY. Generous meat covered slice of deliciousness!!

We stopped in to try this well know NY pizza and was surprised that you can not order a specific pizza / you get what they have available / no pepperoni:( . The quality of the pizza was good however the service was rude and place was filthy .
