Consistently Great

We hadn't been to Manhattan for a while and couldn't quite think about what we wanted to eat. Then, pizza came to mind and we immediately thought Ray's! We wandered over and ordered a large sausage and pepperoni and stopped by the wine ship a block up the street to pick up a California red to go... read more

It's a great take-out place. It's right on one of the busiest places because of Times Square. You can just grab a slice and go if you want or you can order and take it back to your hotel. Kids would really love it also. Pizza is wonderful!

Been to New York a few times but decided to try Rays Pizza as we are only stopping at the Sheraton time square a 2 minute walk the best pizza ever, brilliant chips and hot wings. Hot wings could do with making them more hotter but food taste brilliant.

I've heard pretty bad things about the number of "Ray's Pizza" places that are cheap imitations of some apparent once good original Ray's Pizza place in NYC, and this place was no exception. The inside was dirty, the service was bad, the prices were too high for the quality, and both the wings and pizza were just bad. Being open... More

This stop is a must for us every time we are in Times Square. I have never had a bad piece of pizza from this place.

What a great taste of NYC near the heart of times square. I have never had a bad slice and I usually end up with a stomach ache only because my eyes are bigger than my stomach. A really fun easy way to get a slice.

I was staying at the Wellington Hotel on 7th Ave so I stopped by Ray's for dinner on my first evening in Manhattan. There was a lot of different pizzas to choose from and decided on an Italian sausage/pepperoni slice. It was edible and good for a late night snack but nothing spectacular. 2 slices and a pop came to... More

It Pizza so let's not get too carried away but if you like your cheese on toast the American way then this is the place for you! NYC is all about food on the go and a slice of pie from Ray's ticks all the boxes. Having just come back from a trip to Italy i can tell you this... More

The pizza is not bad, I will give them that much. The price though is way too high. $15 for two slices and a drink. What I really didn't like is that they sort of have a "bait and switch" going. The menu says a slice of cheese pizza is only $3. Conveniently they were out of cheese and the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
