I've been here twice now once a month ago and one a week ago. The first time I was with colleagues and we got a bit of everything. The beef rib was fantastic but the second time I was with my wife and we shared a beef rib, it was good but not nearly as good as the first time.

I'm amazed by any one star reviews....food fantastic. Portions are good, speedy service, good atmosphere, prices reasonable. Daisy Mays was the best restaurant we ate in NYC and took us to an interesting part of town of the beaten track. You must visit!

This place is a total ripoff, I ordered the pulled pork for $15.95 and when it came, I could barely find it on my tray. A tiny, little cup of pulled pork. Ribs are similarly overpriced and not that good. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

The meat - the sticky ribs - are an excellent choice. The side orders are not that high standard. But compared withe the Price it is really good value for your Money.

After living in Texas for 25 years, my BBQ standards are pretty high. And I will admit, my expectations for great, sweet BBQ was exceeded. The Kansas City Ribs are worth it. BUT, be prepared because it's not very large, self serve and the dining atmosphere is below average.

If you don't mind "no ambiance," this is the place to go for the best barbecue in New York. It is located a few blocks off the Broadway trail at 11th Ave. and 46th Street, but it is worth the walk. The ribs are so soft and tasty, you will never want anyone else's barbeque. Prices are good for New... More

Do not let the tight quarters as you enter turn you away. The dining area is big, with family style seating where you can enjoy good BBQ. The beef brisket is sublime, but my friend got a rib. Yes, a rib. It was the biggest rib I have ever seen, and three people picked on it to get it done.... More

Absolute rib madness! Combo meals that would have you coming back for more. If your on a stroll on the West sine of Manhattan, drop in. You won't regret it. You will need to walk it off.

We visited Daisy Mays while we were walking toward the Intrepid Air Museum, which isn't far away. You order your food and drink and go to sit in the cafeteria style seating. The meat that we had was delicious, I had the Brisket, which melted in your mouth and my wife had the Chilli Beef, which she said was the... More

Based on their website I was really looking for some good BBQ in New York City, but it was disappointing. I got the two meat special and while the brisket was very good, the ribs were okay. I didn't care for the cole slaw even though my daugher raved about it. The mac and cheese side didn't have a good... More
