The charming authentic Tuscan Trattoria has an atmosphere perfect for fine dining. The setting is maderate, casual, and fun with several areas suitable for views. Trattoria Belvedere returns authenticity to Northern Italian Cuisine. Our Tiramisu (best in the city) our home made ravioli stuffed with lobster and a traditional tagliata (Tuscan Steak) our daily special. In addition to the great food, our staff our staff will always surprise you with a special wine selection not on our list. The restaurant is beautifally adorned with fresh cut flowers and illuminated by candle light.

A definite 4-and-a-half!!!

This is a great find in our son's new neighborhood. I picked it by reading the other reviews on TripAdvisor. Everything was fresh and delicious. We started with the grilled calamari and prosciutto and melon. We normally liked fried calamari, but this was so tender and tasty. The melon was fresh and... read more

It is not hard to write a review on a place that always offers great food, service and style. From the Candy Pasta (pear infused) to the house special seafood dish it never disappoints. The wines are a great choice of Italian with honest input from the managerial staff, always so pleasing. We cannot get past the Tiramisu as it... More

Went here for dinner on a Sunday evening on the recommendation of a friend. Nice spot. The list of specials is long - three appetizers, two pasta dishes, a veal dish and two seafood choices. We weren't told the prices but didn't ask either. The meal was very good and reasonably priced as well. Appies, mains, dessert and a couple... More

My husband and adult children have been coming here for the past several years and, without a doubt, it's one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Belvedere is the whole package. The food is consistently excellent and the menu is big with additional daily specials. Plus, the waiters go out of their way to accommodate whatever you'd like... More

We were staying at the hotel next door and visited this restaurant for my 40th birthday celebrations. The food was lovely authentic Italian food. The waiting staff were very helpful. The meals were reasonably priced although I did find the wine list a bit expensive.

I checked Google for an Italian restaurant in Murray Hill... Trattoria Belvedere came up as a good bet... but it wasn't a good start because the aircon wasn't working and it was a very humid stormy nite. We ordered 3 basic pasta dishes (which were nice) - it's just that the portions were so small & added to that they... More

Recently went to Trattoria Belvedere with a large group on a Sunday night and had a wonderful experience - the food is authentic and delicious, prices are reasonable, decor is welcoming and understated, and service is friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back. I rated a 4 but could probably closer to a 4.5 (hard to give a middle... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
