Well prepared food with attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed everything from our appetizers all the way to a nice cup of Turkish coffee. We also enjoyed the Turkish wine along with our meal. Absolutely worth a visit!!

When you walk in you have to negotiate 5 steps to get to the main floor of the restaurant. The restaurant is tastefully furnished with contemporary lanterns on the wall and beautifully orchids on the shelf near the tables. There are some nice Picasso reproductions on the walls. On the right, is a small fully equipped bar. The Maître' D... More

This was my friend, Madeline's, and my favorite restaurant, since it opened. So when we wanted to celebrate her birthday, we decided to go to the Turkish Kitchen. The restaurant is pretty and popular for the prix fix dinners. I made reservations and got there first. I told my waitress that it was my friend's birthday, and I would like... More

Was across the street where we had a gelato making class, and afterwards was looking for a place to get appetizers as we were slightly peckish but not starved. It was my birthday and we were a party of 8. They would not seat us all together, so we had 2 tables in semi-close proximity. After we were seated, we... More

I am not fan of pre fix lunch specials but I must say what serve vs anything u can pay expect at $13 is surreal. Best deal in town full of deals for lunch.

So disappointing. Our GO TO place. The drink was so small that we called the waitress over.It got very embarrassing when three people came over and gave us ice to show us that the drink was not MINISCULE.We almost left but gave them the benefit of the doubt.Wrong decision on our part.

For such a big and busy restaurant the service was attentive and fast. The menu is a broad selection of mediteranian staples even though the local claim to rights of these dishes may vary. We found the humus and falafel good but the sauces a bit bland. Great feta and the shish kebab was tender but with oversized tomato wedges.... More

Three of us had the 4-course lunch specials yesterday at the Turkish Kitchen. What great food. I had the Iskender Kebob, which I had never had before, and it was simply fantastic. We used to go regularly when we lived in Manhattan but we will definitely make it there more often.

I've been a patron of Turkish Kitchen for about 14 years now, and REALLY want to like it, but unfortunately the food is just not that good. My husband and I have spent almost 3 weeks in Istanbul, so I'd like to think that we know what good a Turkish food is. While Turkish Kitchen's lentil soup is delicous, most... More
