A great location off restaurant row in the theater district with many choices to eat at. We found them on Savored.com and like the menu. The place is your quaint Italian restaurant with wine bottles and Italian scenes covering all the walls. Tables, while cramped did not give that feeling, were covered by linens and then paper.. Our server was... More

We were told about 'restaurant row' in Hell's Kitchen by a very informative tour guide and what a great recommendation it was too! Just around the corner from Times Square but a world away from the tacky tourist scene, this area of 9th Ave is crammed full of restaurants to suit every taste bud. We liked the look of Cara... More

Great food, good location, on edge of Theatre District without having to deal with all the crowds of Times Square. Great service. Very enjoyable meal.

This restaurant was fantastic. I love to cook so I am hard to satisfy. The meal I had was amazing. I ordered off the homemade pasta section as did my daughter. My carbonara was probably one of the best I've had (If you don't like salty don't order because there is pancetta in it).The meals were reasonably priced (approx. &17)... More

This is a great place to go after a Broadway matinee, as we did on a couple of occasions, or before a show. It's not in the theater district, so a little off the beaten path and away from the crowds, but easy walking distance. The food is well prepared and graciously served.

Visited this restaurant for it's ratings on Trip Advisor. On entering we received a female server who was extremely abrupt and rude. There is no beer menus and we merely asked what beers were available. She couldn't look ore disinterested and talked in a very condescending tone. There were no beers listed on the menus - hence the question. Prices... More

While visiting family in the city our hostess recommended Cara Mia for a nice meal before a show. The menu had a nice variety of offerings as well as being reasonably priced.

Cara Mia is located a short walk from the theater district, so it is a great location for an early dinner before a show. The menu has many options and they offer nightly specials. We enjoyed two different pasta dishes prepared to perfection with bread and a delicious salad. The wait staff was aware of our pending theater reservations and... More

During my stay in NYC we came across this nice restaurant and found it good enough to return to a second time. Fast service and no fuss food. I'd gladly go back again as all meals had by my family of 4 on both occasions were very good. Well worth the try if you're in NYC.
