Every time I come to this place, it feels like a vacation. On busy weekends, if you are lucky enough to score a patio seat, you can soak up the sun, check out the activity on the Hudson and dine on casual fare. There is additional seating "inside." The service has always been very attentive and laid-back. The maui-mahi and... More

People from the neighborhood, the theater, and every other sector of New York society come together at this casual restaurant. The bar is loud and very busy. The food is comforting, but not exciting. That said, this is one of the secret gems of New York. You will not find a better view any place, the sun setting on the... More

Very casual, relaxed atmosphere; friendly, if not terribly prompt, service; great comfort food. We had the grilled cheese sandwich with turkey gumbo, and huevos rancheros, with a side of tater tots. All tasty.

After walking through Riverside Park, this was the perfect spot for dinner outside, in the beautiful weather. While we waited for our table, we purchased drinks in the bar area, which was packed on a Saturday night at 6PM! The bartender was quick and pleasant, especially under the circumstances. We were unable to sit by the water, but sitting in... More

We came here for a rehearsal dinner party. It was an easy restaurant to find from the subway. I loved the open feeling of the restaurant and found it to have a lot of character and ambiance. The food was nothing to write home about. The view from the terrace overlooking the river was gorgeous as the sun set. I... More

Went here with some girlfriends... We got there early 4pm and got a table outside on the water. We ordered the hot pretzel and hummus along with a pitcher of red sangria. The pretzel was good, small and a bit overpriced... The hummus was flavorless, but it came with a decent amount if veggies and crackers. Finally, the sangria was... More

This was my second visit, but first time eating. I went with 2 ladies around dinner time on a Saturday night. We made the mistake of walking the Hudson river boardwalk to get there- not realizing it could only be reached from the W. 79th street entrance. You have to literally go under the bridge towards the traffic and veer... More

The menu here underwhelmed us, but the food we had was really good, just not exciting. However, it is a wonderful place for outdoor dining, and the service was great.
