We stumbled across this treasure whilst we were visiting Grand Central and the Maitre'd found us a table for 5 despite our very casual attire. The menu had something for everyone and our Prime rib sandwich and the Lobster roll were delicious . We saved room to share a delicious Baked Alaska. Absolutely delicious. Make sure you have a meal... More

We should have suspected something when we walked in on a Saturday Evening and it was so sparse. Staff standing around and you had to ask to get anything including drink refills. Although the lobster was "OK", the steak was a poor quality and not prepared to order. I sent it back and it was wrong again. Little taste as... More

For service like this and average food I would prefer to be given the option to leave gratuity however, after checking the bill I noticed that this had already been added therefore I did not leave any further gratuity for service that is not of the usual high standard we experienced on our trip. We would recommend walking a couple... More

The restaurant is in Grand Central station and many of the tables are on a balcony overlooking the main atrium. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Wine recommendations were good. And for lunch they had a very reasonably prices 3 course prix fixe menu. Embarrassed to say that I'm from Chicago and had never been to MJ's Chicago Steakhouse.

My wife and I stopped by spontaneously on Saturday, August 30. We've known of this restaurant for years and have always wanted to visit. We had a reservation elsewhere for dinner but stopped in for some wine and shrimp cocktail in the late afternoon. We look forward to returning for dinner soon. We took seats at their bar overlooking Grand... More

Based inside Grand Central Station. The location says it all. Massive ribeye steak cooked to perfection. A few drinks watching the world , or at least New York, go by. You do pay a price for all of this but it is well worth it. The best place we ate on our four day visit to the city.

In fact we've been twice in august (one business and one family visits), really much better that expected. Jumbo Shrimp "23", tuna tartare and ribeye, better bone-in than boneless, absolutely recommended. Try "Conn Creek Anthology", a depth-and-complex Napa Valley red wine. And most important of all, dining at Grand Central Terminal is an extraordinary experience that I recommend to anyone.

Didn't have a ton of time so we sat at the bar to order. Had the Warm garlic bread with Gorgonzola Fondue! Yummy! Bread was toasted just right and the fondue was heavenly! Then we had the mini-lobster roll with home made chips (which are the best chips!) Small bread roll, topped high with lobster salad. Fresh, not overwhelmed with... More

Stick to the bar area. It's lively during the commuter rush and you can meet some interesting people. On the weekend, it's much quieter but how can you ever knock a restaurant with Grand Central's ceiling as it's backdrop.

A surprise birthday present at an unexpected venue, with great views over the Grand Central Station main concourse. The steaks more than live up to their reputation; they are large, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Vegetable side dishes are extra, and worth every penny. Deserts are huge, and very tasty. The wine list is extensive, and did not disappoint. Ok,... More
