We ordered Manhattans straight up- the bartender told us that you should never shake bourbon- what? We know this isn't true. They were out of Wild Turkey as well which we wanted. So we had to settle for other whiskey. Poor planning on management's part especially when the drinks were $15 each. The bar was fine, but the bartender was... More

We stopped in to Grand Central Terminal to visit and it happened to be lunchtime so took a seat on the balcony overlooking the grand hall of the terminal not expecting too much. I had the crusted tuna which was excellent. My wife had the burger which could have been seasoned better but was all prime steak and little bread... More

Following extensive research on trip advisor prior to our recent visit to NYC we made sure to visit Michael Jordan's. We saved it for the last night, and it was worth the wait. The Fillet steak was melt in the mouth, the service was excellent, and the view of Grand Central Terminal is something unique. The burger wasn't very good,... More

We were attracted to MJs due to it's location in Grand Central Station and thought it would be an atmospheric venue for our last lunch in NYC. We were not disappointed - it was great fun sitting up in the gallery overlooking the main concourse. As a non-meat eater the menu was not great for me, but the guys' steaks... More

Me and my husband visited Michael Jordan's Steak House as a treat on our last night in NYC. The setting is wonderful and so unique - overlooking the main concourse in Grand Central Station. Perfect for people watching! We went just for a main meal as it was quite late, my husband ordered the fillet and I ordered the burger.... More

The Jumbo shrimp Cocktail Starter was excellent. The New York Strip Steak grilled to Perfektion, juicy with a herb crust. Excellent wine Selection, especially US top wines. The spinach and the Special Fries wehre awesome. A perfekt Place for a Business dinner however based on the fact that the restaurant is situated in the open space of the Grand Central... More

This is our 4th its to MJ's in Grand Central Station but our first with our 10 year old towns. I asked for a balcony table so they could watch the comings and goings of GCS which we did get. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
