Steak is good, but go for the location

For a steakhouse: good, but I've had better steaks. Location is awesome, would recommend if you want the experience of eating overlooking Grand Central Terminal. We went as a group of three adults and one child. No complaints at all, service was very good, accommodating and attentive. Steaks... read more

I had being in New York for a couple of days, unfortunately all the food I had before was just poor, poor options for a vegetarian [no red/white meat]. We stumbled on this restaurant at the stunning grand central station. Its not a place I would normally ever go it, thinking it was a sports bar due to the name,... More

Enjoyed an OUTSTANDING dinner! We had an appetizer, main course, wine and dessert for $75. Service was incredible; the waiter didn't hover but knew when to refill glasses, bring more wine and make dessert suggestions.

On the balcony at Grand Central Station, this steakhouse has plenty of atmosphere. It is decorated with photos of trains and the rest rooms look and feel like part of a historic structure; oh, wait - they are! You can look out and down over the railing and see the main concourse of the train station, with the information booth,... More

the michael jordan steak house bar at grand central is a welcome change from most midtown hangouts. and you don't have to order steak: the salmon from the rw menu came perfectly medium rare. the staff were friendly and efficient, and i would go there again.

What a wonderful find as we were walking out of Grand Central Station. We only required a light meal, my wife having a salmon main and myself a burger, it was excellent. The complimentary starter was appreciated and enjoyable . Wish we could find a place as good in the UK . Good wine list, wonderful looking towards the station,... More

Excellent spot for meeting for business or out of towners, overlooking the clock tower of Grand Central Station. Nice bar and limited seating overlooking the commuters, but even nicer room located beyond, a bit quieter and more elegant. Menu is predictable but food is excellent quality, standard American.

Reserved the private balcony for a private dinner function. Food, view, and service were all outstanding. If definitely return if dining in this area of the city again. Ribeye was amazing, creamed spinach was so good, and my colleague appreciated Gorgonzola sauce being promptly made upon request.

I visited this restaurant during New York restaurant week event, and was ordering from this event's menu. For $25 I had a very good Caesar salad, small portion of perfectly cooked strip steak (if you order Filet Mignon, there is a $8 supplement) and a strawberry shortcake. Everything was very well prepared and well seasoned. The service was fast and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
