We had not been in 21 in about 20 years. It hadn't seemed to change. The service was excellent as was the food. It has an a la carte menu with moderately high prices. We each had a cocktail and a glass of wine. Our bar bill did not exceed the food bill. My wife had a "vegetable taste" which... More

The food was good. And, they lived up to their promise to get us out by curtain call. But, it's overpriced, and just not all that special. Everything we ate was delicious and perfectly prepared. There is plenty of choice on the fixed price pre-theatre menu, and a very large selection on the regular menu. And, my $21 cocktail was... More

We ate in the downstairs bar for their pre-theatre prix fixe. The menu options were diverse enough it was hard to decide which items to order, and the prix fixe feature made sure the food was affordable. Our server was friendly, and even told us about the history of the table where we were sitting (scene in Wall Street). The... More

We ate pre-theatre upstairs and our waiter was world class. In a place that can easily feel stuffy, he knew the right times and manner to speak with guests. The Caesar salad was the best if my life, my wife's soup was top class. The entrees were decent - to be expected from the $49 pre-fixe menu - and the... More

We visited Club 21 on a weekend trip to NYC and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Our meal was delicious and we had the set menu pre-theatre deal so it was great value. The service was fantastic, we felt like they couldn't do enough for us! With such a wealth of history it felt so... More

We booked here because of its history and being one of the iconic restaurants in NYC. We were not disappointed, the service and attention to detail was first rate. We booked about a month in advance and were easily accommodated - it was a week day, weekends are more diffcult. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. We... More

it can be a very pretentious place with hard liquor and lots of well know people dropping by to be whisked into private rooms. this place was ranked the #1 bar in uber so I had to try it out. It was cool but not a place id hangout too often

I love this restaurant - so much so that my now husband booked a trip in Sept 2013 and proposed to me there to my complete surprise. The food, atmosphere and service is outstanding and I just love the attention to detail and quality that is evident from the moment that you enter to the moment that you leave. Thank... More

We had an amazing time at 21 Club! We really have nothing negative to say whatsoever. We were greeted promptly at the door. Once we gave him our name, every member of the wait staff from then on knew our name. They also knew it was our anniversary even though I had only briefly mentioned it in our reservation. The... 21 Club in NYC is one of the iconic Manhattan restaurants. Named after its address, 21 W 52nd Street, it is quite near to the MOMA in the bustling midtown area. Bookings well ahead are absolutely essential. Dress code was purported to be quite strict "tie for gentlemen compulsory" - but on arrival, I viewed many open neck shirts, though... More
