Being such a historic restaurant we chose the 21 Club as the first of our three nights of dinners in NYC. The room is visually interesting with the toys decorating the ceiling and kind of fun thinking about all of the famous people that have been there over the years as well as the movies filmed in the restaurant. The... More

My wife and I entered the 21 Club to enquire about dining. Unfortunately they were fully booked however we enjoyed a couple of very nice Gin & Tonics and a glass of wine in a very sociable and friendly environment. The batman Eddie was 1st class in his assistance and potted history of the premises. On top of that we... More

This former Speakeasy is a very interesting lunch or dinner location, serving classics such as New York cheesecake in a fascinating setting. The restaurant is decorated with lots of hanging memorabilia donated by guests over the years, and the waiters can chat to you about the significance of all the pieces. There have been many famous diners at 21, and... More

Our experience could not have been better. My filet was cooked exactly as I ordered it and it was rather large. The bearnaise sauce was excellent. We had a bottle of wine and the waiter made sure our glasses were not empty. I love the decor and all of the restaurant personnel were very attentive and pleasant. This was not... More

Orginally booked an evening there, they called me a few weeks in advance to say the whole room had been booked for a special occasion and my booking no longer stood. However to soften the blow, they offered 50$ voucher and the chance to book another time suitable for us.As we were on vacation for 1 week, we didnt really... More

Okay, it is not the greatest food in the world. And the bar would be considered tacky just about anywhere else with all the stuff hanging from the ceiling. But, hey, this is THE 21. It had its origins as a speakeasy, a bar. For gentleman. It is not some dive, they have standards. Some years ago they messed with... More

Incredible! In 2014... Almost incredible. I've just leave (or jumped out from) the hall of the restaurant wearing my brand new sneakers (produced by a top luxury brand) I was the first of 10 friends and we asked a table to enjoy our meal at 21's. The associated at the reception do not accept us because of my sneakers... "Never... More

From start to finish, this was an awesome experience. We were going to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch in Broadway and I wanted to find a memorable place to have dinner. And memorable it was! The outdoor decor is unique with its cast iron jockeys greeting us as we walked in. The bar area screamed all money and it... More
