In the interest of full disclosure, the only reason that we went to '21' was because we had a gift certificate. We're not overly wealthy, so had we gone here without a GC, then I would have been a lot more disappointed. That being said, I don't understand why this restaurant has the aura and mystique that it has. Yes,... More

Took advantage of "Restaurant Week" to try a restaurant that I have wanted to eat at for a long time. I was a little concerned that the "limited menu" would not be representative of the normal menu options. However, I was totally surprised by the quality of the food and the presentation. This place is top notch from the moment... More

If you like ambiance and great service The 21 Club has that. Unfortunately the food is barely palatable. But very pricey. The bar is charming and the bartenders are personable, humorous ad friendly. The bar has a nice selection and the drink prices are typical of N.Y.C. The place is charming and has a warm ambiance. They have a few... More

It is hard to find any fundamental criticism about your dining experience at the 21 Club. Decor exquisite rustic, impeccable service from Nick our waiter. The sommelier was exceptional kind as he assisted you with his knowledge of the wine list - the size of the NY phone book. Choices were plenty and the sommelier immediately put you at ease,... More

We love the service and the amazing food. The pre-fix dinner menu was very good and very reasonable for midtown Manhattan. The wait staff was aware of our plans to go to a play after dinner and adjusted their service accordingly. Well worth the visit :)

This was my second time trying this restaurant. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Food ok, service fine, decor certainly unique. However, nothing about it is great either. It's pretty expensive as well. With so many great restaurants to choose from, this one just doesn't stand out for me. Go there to say you've been, but leave it at that.

Our first meal in NY during restaurant week and and we were blown away by the atmosphere and service provided. Each course was incredible in terms of taste, presentation and quantity. No other restaurant week meal compared!

My friends and just dined here for lunch during restaurant week. Although this isn't the kind of place I'd typically pick, I'm thrilled my friend did. Not only was our three course lunch delicious, but the restaurant itself (formerly a speakeasy in the days of prohibition) is rich with history. If you're lucky like we were, perhaps your waiter will... More
