We have been going to Cafeteria a few times a year for about 8 years. Our latest visit was for my 40th birthday. We had a blast. The food is excellent. Chicken and waffles, skirt steak, truffle fries, little weenies(you know pigs in a blanket) lol. We have not been disappointed. They are consistently AWESOME! The drinks are great too.... More

Our waiter was awesome and the food was great. Croissant french toast...Who wouldn't want that? Their menu includes a variety and don't be thrown off by their website. It's not as unusual as the website portrays you to believe. Reasonable prices and you'll never know who you see...We spotted a celeb while dining.

Very hip and trendy restaurant. I had the Old School Meatballs as a appetizer and the Fried Chicken And Waffles as a main entree. The Meatballs were excellent. The sauce tasted very similar to the sauce from dish at one of my favorite Houston Italian restaurants. The Friend Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicey on the inside. The... More

The more I appreciate it. Everything I've tasted here has been very good. Good thing the NEVER smiling, tragic drag queen who used to be the hostess was let go. Friendly, relatable staff is what suits this place best I think.

Used to have frequent flyer miles for Cafeteria a few years back. Visited recently with some girl friends after wedding shopping and just came across as the place being average. Our server at the beginning was like pulling teeth trying to get information from her on recommendations; eventually she softened up. The food was ok. Pretty tasteless to some extent.... More

I've been going to Cafeteria forever, even before I moved in two blocks away. 24 hours with a great menu? Obviously. The food is great, whatever time of the day it is. There are lots of standard things but also some cool dishes made with a twist... croissant French toast with mascarpone & avocado toast eggs benny for breakfast, salmon... More

This was my second time visiting time and the food is AMAZING! They open 24 hours and we went in late night for some comfort food and left completely satisfied. I ordered the meatloaf and my partner ordered a mac & cheese; both dishes turned out to be the best we've ever had - they were simple but flavourful. Definitely... More

Awful host. This is not the first time that management time or hosts failed. After 50 min of wait they sit us downstairs party of 4 when no one else was there ! It's just rude and disrespectful, not even to let the party know they will be seated in the basement. Also I wouldn't mind if they were able... More
