When we are in NYC, this is our neighborhood restaurant. It is right down the street from the Chelsea apartment we stay in. I have been here for breakfast, lunch and late night dinner. I haven't been disappointed with anything I have ordered. Servings lean to large. It's kind of a hip joint. Modern furnishings, cool servers, fun menu. Everything... More

There is an amazing restaurant in Chelsea tucked away neatly at 119, 7th Avenue. It is my grandchildren’s favorite Sunday brunch place but yesterday we went there for an early Sunday dinner. It is tough to get a table but with a little waiting we did get one. The children ordered their predictable chicken nuggets and fries and the helpings... More

Saturday night 4 people, 8 pm. Definitely need reservations otherwise you'll be waiting during peak times. Clearly a popular place. Our waitress was so so nice and honest, which we really appreciated, but this just isn't a great place overall. First, nothing is amazing. A lot of people seem to think that if you take any pasta and pour gobs... More

Being a native New Yorker, I go to many restaurants in the city and have never encountered two such rude hostesses as here. The management should realize that the girls in the front are a customer's first introduction to the restaurant and the girls that work here need some lessons in customer service and plain old manners. They could not have... We finally were called for our table, I was over whelmed by the menu everything sound so good. i ordered the chicken and waffles and the... More

We loved the ambiance of sitting amongst the locals! The Cafeteria is a true neighborhood hangout in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. We were attracted by the open doors and outdoor seating that we spotted walking down 7th Avenue. We were spotted checking out the menu and welcomed inside with great warmth. As we sat down we noticed a table... More

Visited on a busy Saturday, but we were able to be seated immediately. While the modern hard-surfaced decor and density of chatting customers made for a noisy meal that made conversation challenging, the food and drinks were second to none and our waiter was efficient and engaging. Passion fruit cosmos are highly recommended!
