I'm pretty hard to impress but I'll always remember fondly the nights I've spent at Home. Small capacity, maybe 30 at most...great garden seating. I took my boyfriend there for date night there a few months ago when it was still a bit chilly and the garden was a perfect atmosphere. Warm and cozy. Their wine selection was so extensive... More

I've been living in NYC for about a year now and it has been an experience like no other. However besides the pizza in this city and the few restaurants whose reputations are known from Maine to California, I have had trouble finding a restaurant that's really it's own. Don't get me wrong, some of the food I've had in... More

Tripadvisor doesn't have the capability of self-editing past reviews, so I took down my original review. Basically, my original review was me raving about how fantastic the food and ambiance was. I declared it my #1 restaurant in NYC, and went there many times. There used to be a time when you had to make reservations weeks in advance. Well,... More

Need I say more. Do not skip this place if in NYC and definitely order the Mac & Cheese. You will not regret it! Ask for the back patio...it's very tight in there!

Friend picked this restaurant, good choice. There were 7 of us having dinner together to catch up. The mac and cheese is one of the best I have ever tasted. I ordered the pork ribs dinner and the meat was falling off the bones and the sauce was good. Could have used a little more sauce. Hubby ordered the mussels... More

Very interesting menu - refreshing among all the ethnic restaurants in village. I was made aware of this restaurantt during a Food Tour of Greenwich Village. Cornelia street has several excellent restaurants, but what attracted me was the "local" food focus - using and preparing short travelled, local produce. Their American wine list is very interesting. I had the Clam... More

Four of us had a lovely, quiet brunch before going to see the Academy Awards nominations for short, live-action films at the IFC on 6th Ave. We walked into the Cornelia Street Cafe first but the noise level was unbearable so we walked across the street to 'Home' and loved it.

Had a salad and soup for starters (both excellent), mac-n-cheese next which was very rich and filling but good, then a chicken dish for the main course which was also tasty. My wife had an eggplant dish and didn't like it very much. Other than that, it was a great experience. We ate at Palma the night before and I... More

On a cold, snowy day we had a delicious comforting lunch at Home. The food and coffee were amazing and the atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming. The staff were very kind and attentive.

As part of an organised food tour of the Greenwich area, we stopped at Home to sample some Mac & Cheese, which blew both of my girlfriend and me away... So we immediately booked a table for dinner that evening! We didn't regret our decision, as we had probably the best meal of our stay in New York. We started... More
