Come for dinner even if you do not eat red meat

I'm allergic to the cow (beef and lactose sensitive)... but don't mnd coming here when entertaining guests. There are pleny of non-beef options like their oysters rockefeller and their seared tuna. Best non-beef items on their menu are their mac & cheese and their mashed potatoes. You can taste... read more

A group of us picked this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, we were treated well, and the decor took us back to "old New York". We sampled many of the "must have's", including the Porterhouse for two, and most of the side dishes. Definitely would recommend the porterhouse, as well... More

This steakhouse is fantastic! The service is terrific, the wait staff is most attentive and really pay attention to every detail. The food is awesome as well. Steaks are perfectly prepared and very well seasoned. If you like seafood you should definitely experience the colossal lump crab cake, just spectacular. If you're in New York City and are looking for... More

We went there last year with my wife and her sister and brother-in-law. Money was no object as it was my wife’s birthday and it is a hobby of mine to seek out the best steak/ prime rib in whatever town I happen to be in. I had the THE EMPIRE CUT OF PRIME RIB ON THE BONE………..super superb! If... More

Classic NYC steakhouse. Atmosphere is warm and masculine decor. Service was excellent and very pleasant. The steak we had was like slicing butter with amazing taste and cooked exactly as I requested. Cheesecake for dessert was amazing. The energy in the room was pretty high with some large groups which made it a little noisy but clearly everyone was enjoying... More

We had an 8:30pm reservation on a Saturday evening and we were not seated until after 9pm...frustratingly watching other couples come in after us and get seated sooner...one couple sharing that they did not have a reservation. It felt as thought the delay was a ploy to try to get us to spend more money at the bar while we... More

This was a restaurant we were recommended to for a special occasion. We had the oysters to start with which were superb followed by the porterhouse which was excellent. The service was good and we didn't feel rushed although the tables were very close together and it was a little cramped. Price wise it was expensive and we found many... More

Went for vendor dinner. We started with a nice bottle of Spanish red wine called MARIA. It was actually very good and not too strong. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and the lump crab meat which were excellent. I have the sirloin and scallops which were very good. Another person had the peppercorn burger which he said was the... More
