Dim sum during lunch and other times (check, not sure)... nice traditional Chinese, excellent food, reasonable very reasonable wine list... only complaint is the Hot and Sour Soup is not as good as J East, our local take-out, but nice round tables, pleasant service... you are made to feel welcome .. highly recommend... Not cheap, reasonable, but very special dishes,... More

Invited by a friend to the Golden Unicorn, we found it to be a wonderful experience in Chinese Cuisine. The food was fresh and plentiful with items we had never tasted before. The staff was very friendly and attentive too.

Absolutely amazing food! Lightening fast with pretty good service. What a cool idea for dum sum. We tried a number of things. Shrimp dumplings were the best!

My best friend and I always debate about where to go for dimsum. I typically suggest this place because the food is good, the prices are low, and there is plenty of seating. However this review is based on a private party I had where I rented out an entire floor for several hours. My only issue lies with the... More

This place is as close as you can get to a Cantonese dim sum experience. Different type of foods comes on carts and you pick what you are in the mood for or whatever looks good. They have a wide variety of different dishes too many to mention, this place deserves coming back too. The interior looks truly Chinese. I... More

We ate Dim Sum here and I thought it was pretty clean, good service, friendly, ambiance like others described and food was tasty. Having been to many Dim Sum places it had a few dishes not served in others that was tasty. Above all the food was made fresh for the day. Thus I would come back.

The food is delicious and the way they serve it (in passing by trolleys) is original. But in one or two cases I missed to have a catalogue with the ingredients of what I ate.. The smell of gas in the second floor was annoying. Hopefully this is not a smoking place..

When I was in NYC during the summer I had asked what restaurant in Chinatown had the best Dim Sum and the responses were overwhelmingly leaning towards the Gold Unicorn. While I was there I could not find it (that shows my state of hunger: it was right across the street from where I ended up eating!) So, this trip... More

Every time I come to NY, I love to come here for lunch or dinner, food are delicious, cheap and they have good service. Shrimp dumpling, chive dumpling, spinach dumpling, veal chop, baked pork pastrie, lobster congee, durian pudding, mushroom e-fu noodle are very delicious.

I went with my two sons and a friend to this restaurant last July because another friend had recommended the restaurant to me due the "unique serving experience". We arrived at 3:00 PM for a late lunch, not knowing that the restaurant was about to close, but anyway, they let us in, saying that we still could eat. First at... More
