They change the menu around with the new owners and I just was not impressed. I liked the old Angelo & Maxie's so much better. I won't be going back.

Low lighting, comfortable seating, beautiful surroundings. Excellent food. Enjoyed a large, fresh shrimp cocktail for starters. Had surf and turf-wow! Delicious. The service was a bit slow at times so don't be in a rush to go anywhere.

I've kept the card for this restaurant since NYC has so many places to choose from. This is one of my favorites. The food and the service is great!

Best steak I have ever tasted and the cocktails are to die for. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know who mentions that they are going to New York.

Attentive service. Good food and relatively okay pricing as a steakhouse. Has new ownership and will undergo alot of decorative changes and name will become Vic and Anthony's, an upscale steak chain. Great area also.

We have been going to Angelo and Maxie's since their opening night many years ago and what an opening it was complete with Cuban band and dancing. Fast forward a few decades and we celebrated my husband's 40th and 50th as well as several company holiday parties and many a Sunday night steak dinner. So two weeks ago we went... More

This is our 2nd time eating at Angelo's on Thanksgiving evening. We did the parade and the Rockettes, then headed to A&M for football and dinner. We watched football and had expert drinks and yummy appetizers over for a couple of hours. The bar staff were very helpful, efficient, but also lots of fun. Four of us had the Thanksgiving... More

We celebrated a birthday at Angelo & Maxie's and we all selected the table d'hôte. Included was a perfectly prepared filet mignon (the best I've ever had!), accompanied by a huge loaded baked potatoe (the size of two closed fists) and Caesar salad. The wine selection was varied both in tastes and in price. We opted for cheesecake for dessert.... More
