While I have to admit the food is outstanding, I really feel like this restaurant caters to people who are over 50 years old. I think it would improve the atmosphere if they played some soothing instrumental, acoustic music in the background to set the mood. Also, if you look around the waiters are all men and all getting up... More

Not to be confused with the hotel, this five star restaurant just east of Park Avenue that has been there for a very long time is what anyone who appreciates fine food, service and ambiance should go to whenever visiting Manhattan. The fixed price pre-theater dinner remains a great deal. You are treated royally and the Pool Room remains one... More

This is truly one to NYc's Iconic Restaurants. The food and the service are top of the line. A must try is the Four Seasons Steak Tartare and the Crab Cakes. The Tartare is prepared at your table to order. Choose a table by the pool. And theres a good chance of seeing someone famous having dinner.

I have been dining at the Four Seasons for many years. This week I took some business colleagues to drinks their on 2 separate evenings. This is a departure from my typical lunch. Although the bar was crowded, there was available seating and both nights, my friends and I sat and enjoyed outstanding service and great Pinot Noir by the... More

We celebrated my mom's birthday at The Four Seasons recently and we were disappointed in the service and the food. The Four Seasons is one of those old-time NYC restaurants that continue to survive because of its cachet but is not keeping up with the times. My mom wanted to celebrate her milestone birthday there because she had always heard... More

We had high hopes for this restaurant and while we left happy, it wasn't all that it was billed to be. The room is fantastic. Great ambience. We sat right next to the pool. Very cool design. The food was very good but not on a par with other NYC restaurants in the same price range. My wife had the... More

We had breakfast there one morning and nothing has changed. The service is impeccable and friendly, not at all cool or aloof. I ordered scrambled eggs with home fries, buttered whole wheat and coffee, warm cream and a warm cup, (I like my coffee very hot.) I don't know what they put in the eggs but they were delicious as were the... More

The unattractive entrance set the tone for a disappointing dining experience. The food was just average and an unremarkable presentation. The total bill was outrageous.

If you're in the city for business, then this is your place to have a great meal, great service, and not be bothered by over-attentive staff. I would like to point out a waiter by the name of Noel who went beyond the call to make my guests feel comfortable while I stepped away from the table. Even though it... More
