My dad and I went to La Bonne Soupe for dinner after a Broadway matinee. We got there a little before 5pm and almost had the whole upstairs to ourselves. We visited La Bonne Soupe on our second night in NYC on the strength of TripAdvisor comments. The service was average, when we were seated we waited quite a while before anyone came to take a drinks order! Both my mum and I had a savoury crepe with chicken and mozzerella. They were delicious! The wine was really nice also.... more

We picked this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews, and all four of us agreed the food was great and the prices reasonable.. Sit upstairs if you can. For a low-key, pretty, reasonably priced French restaurant in midtown, La Bonne Soupe can't be beat.
