You won't leave hungry

A really nice atmosphere with good food and attentive staff (a bit over the top for European tastes perhaps). If you have a small appetite take a doggy bag with you as my starter of popcorn shrimps would have been enough on its own.

We come here every year at least once during our Christmas trip. It is near our hotel. We have two children and this restaurant works well for our whole family. I enjoy the interior and it is well decorated in lights during the holiday season. This particular experience was not very good this year. Our service was bad. We got... More

We've eaten here a number of times. Mostly the service is good and the food meets most expectations though the best French/Japanese cuisine in NYC was the now long gone La Maison Japonaise. The beer offerings are sad, chosen by what their distributor stocks rather than matching beers to dishes. Very convenient for Carnegie Hall.

Came here for brunch which was ok. Nothing spectacular. Left disgruntled because after the food was served, we never saw our waiter again. Well...we did but it was usually him walking by our table and totally ignoring us. Never got a refill on my ice tea or water and sat for 19 min after we finished before he came to... More

My daughter and I have dined here a few time. Sitting outside on a beautiful morning people watching while having breakfast is great. Almond croissant is delicious as well as all the usual breakfast items. Service is great. Thus will always be in my top 5 of places to have breakfast or lunch.

Our waiter recommended we share the Warm Mushroom Salade with shaved parmesan & aged balsamic dressing. Excellent choice! Along with the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass with baby spinach and the seafood special that evening. Excellent service and food! We even went back a second night out of only a four night stay because it was so good. We ate... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
