Had a brunch after Central park walk. Cozy place with good service. Recommend Thai Spicy Tuna Roll and, of course, pommes fritos (french fries), they are also good. As for pricing -- it is OK.

Me and my fiancée had dinner here on Dec 30.they were very busy but they found us a table for two.The server,Italian looking guy, took our drink order and when we asked for some bread he kind of made a face and said it will come with the food.i ordered a mushroom salad because I wasn't very hungry and he asked... My friends and I grabbed a Saturday brunch at Rue 57 and I have to admit, the Parisian-Cafe-meets-Sushi-Bar concept had me a bit skeptical; but it was quite delicious (my Short Rib Benedict was great). Would definitely recommend it to others visiting. I mean - they've got truffle fries! What more do you need?

We spent a week over New Year's in NYC to welcome 2015 and enjoyed our visit to Rue 57 a French Bistro on the corner of 57th and 6th. Upon entering I wasn't certain of how the hostess would receive us because as we came in the door she just looked at us sort of blankly... I feared a stereotyped... More

My fiancée and I had 7 days in NYC in November 2014, staying in a hotel about 3 blocks from Rue 57. Rather than take casual drinks in the hotel bar, we discovered Rue 57 for a light lunch on our 1st day. We had such a good experience with incredibly chatty and friendly staff and some great food that... More

I feel like I should never repeat restaurants whenever I'm in New York as there are so many terrific establishments to choose from but, I just can't help myself with Rue 57. The eclectic menu offers sushi, steak, bolognese and daily specials. I've probably been there about 10 times and I have always had a great meal. The atmosphere has... More

Myself and a NY based friend visit this place every time I'm in Manhattan despite the sometimes mediocre reviews in gets on various food review sites, blogs, etc. My friends theory is that because of its location and generally out-of-town clientele, Manhattanites are automatically a bit sniffy about it - if it was a little smaller and located in a... This restaurant serves all day on Sunday. Their menu has a lot on it, omelettes, burgers, pastas. It has a french bistro decor and 2 stories. The seating is comfortable and the noise is moderate. The service was very good and our bill was $65 for 2 including tip. I had to return my first draft because it had a... More

We were looking for a quick easy meal after the theater and found it at Rue 57. The brasserie food was very good and the service was attentive.

I almost always get steak frites here and I'm never disappointed. Steak is always cooked perfectly medium rare and fries are always crispy. Nice sized bar to hang out when it's slow, but it can get crowded.
