We made a dinner reservation for the same day after we had eaten breakfast that morning - One of the best meals on our trip - go hungry!!

During a recent trip to the city my husband and I stopped in for a quick, light lunch. We tried a couple of their signature drinks - both amazing. Service was very attentive and pleasant. We shared two appetizers, the shrimp and the artichokes, that were delicious. I would stop in here again on another visit.

Observed that this restaurant was very popular, and for good reason. Very good menu, with good wine list. Nice dining area. Wait staff was excellent, though the restaurant was busy. Dined on Chilean Sea Bass that was perfectly prepared. Very good steaks and sides.

Rue 57 used to be one of my favorites in New York City. We just stopped in today for brunch though, and the food and service were less than acceptable. The Brasserie Benedict was supposed to have been a toasted croissant, but was in fact a stale, un-toasted croissant, a slice of deli ham , a egg and sauce. Not... More

Decided to stop in instead of our usual diner spot. I'm glad I did. The pot stickers with pickled seaweed and cabbage was fantastic. Salads, wine, steak, chicken milanese were all great choices as told by my dinner companions. We didnt have room for dessert but i'm sure it would have been great as well. We cant wait to go... More

Beautifully decorated venue with outstanding service. My wife had the Kobe mini-burgers and I had the Wednesday special - Crispy Beef Short Ribs with watercress salad. Both entrees were outstanding. I literally cut my short ribs with my fork - no knife needed. The watercress salad was lightly covered with a mildly spicy dressing that complimented the beef. We finished... More

Fantastic food and service.I had a great warm mushroom salad, hubby had a fantastic French onion soup. We followed with the lamb-burger (a special) and skirt steak, both perfectly cooked. With two beers the bill came to a little over a hundred dollars (plus tip for the exemplary service) - worth every cent!

I've been here 4 times and had an excellent meal in each instance. The burger w/ blue cheese and Kobe meatloaf are great meals!

We arrived early and sat at the bar. We just missed Alec Baldwin who was there 5min before. The drinks are great but Nyc prices. We requested an outdoor table like in paris the chairs and table match paris. The waitress was one of the best i have ever had so professional and knowledgeable. We knew to just get the... More

This place was packed EVERYTIME we passed it so we felt we should try it. The food was very ordinary, I had chicken and couscous with a sauce, the chicken had been flatted and spread across the plate ,it was over cooked. My partner was disappointed too. Over priced for poor food
