My burgers tasted similar to the Stardust kobe burger I had on Broadway. The service was slow and since we ordered burgers...it did not seem like we were treated when i go into a a fancier restaurant. I would go there again for a burger. This was just OK.

After a morning of walking, we enjoyed a great lunch at this restaurant. The weather was so nice, we sat by the open French doors. The mussels were really good as was the Cuban sandwich!

Good steak and short ribs. A very decent seafood platter for 2. Reasonably good service. Competent but not an memorable experience.

This place is one of our "Go To" restaurants. Rarely do we visit NYC without a visit. We were there for lunch before a Broadway matinee. The food is consistently superb. The service and teamwork is seamless. The entire staff is accomodating. Definitely a MUST for those of you who have not yet experienced this restaurant. The "au poivre" sauce... More

We waited 10 minutes for a table to open up during lunchtime on our recent trip to NYC at Rue 57, and it was worth the wait. My husband ordered the Rueben sandwich and I, the butter lettuce salad, and we split our meals. Both were excellent! The service was very good, even though the place was packed. I'm just... More

We stopped here for a late lunch, both had salads and both were great, and large. They mix a pretty good, healthy drink. Our waiter was a little arrogant at first but warmed as the time passed.

We try to visit NY at least a few times a year and, more often than not, we find ourselves at Rue 57. This time was a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. It is always very busy and today was no exception. Even though it was after 2:00, we still had to wait about 15 minutes for a table.... More

One of the best features of Rue 57 in Summer are the tables to eat at on the street. It is fascinating to watch what goes by while actually having a very nice meal. The menu is eclectic with classic French bistro fare and also a large Sushi menu. We had the tomato with blue cheese salad, shrimp cocktail and... More

Scared by the $40 in-room breakfast at our hotel, we took the street in search of a breakfast place and stumbled onto Rue 57. It's busy, buzzing, brasserie style, but we were seated within 10 mins. Food was very good, service prompt, made for a great breakfast. Would recommend!

Best Rigatoni and ambience around Midtown! The staff is friendly and quick to serve and check in on the table too! Love ordering the deep fried oreos too , great decadent dessert options! If you are in the mood for a great soup, i recommend the chicken noodle, tastes just like mom use to make :)
