We always end up at Rue 57 each time we visit. Because it is consistently good, steaks, fish, soup, breakfast, whatever. Good quick service with pleasant staff. Can feel cramped when full/busy.

We first had just some wine for a break from looking at all the Christmas decorations. It was fun sitting at the bar, it was decorated lovely for Christmas. Second visit was for lunch, I had the tuna salad with was excellent and my husband had the Chicken chopped, also very good. The service is very good and it was... More

This bistro has been around for some time and the menu has not changed over the years, but as the restaurant is always busy why change it? The steaks are fantastic if now a bit pricey. Unusually, there is a Japanese section to the menu which although I have not tried it looked authentic and was enjoyed by the party... More

Rue 57 is a bustling restaurant in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. With a wide range of options and a large venue, it was a great place for a group after visiting the MoMA. The service was good, the food options were fairly traditional but great for a group and the setting is pleasant.

On the corner of 60W and 57th st, you'll find this beautiful french style brasserie. We had great scrambeled eggs with breakfast saucage, baked ham and bacon; french toast with strawberries and delicious greek yoghurt. Very friendly staff except for the two ladies at the reception desk who don't even bother welcoming you nor thanking you for the visit. But... More

We went here after my wife said the Burger joint just was not going to due. Had a 30 minute wait in the bar which was pleasant. I had the sirloin burger and frites ( which were truly just fries ). The burger was an almost perfect medium rare and very tasty. It needed nothing to enhance it. The fries... More

A friend and I had done the typical NYC holiday sights and randomly ended up here. I had the grilled cheese without prosciutto (as I'm a veg) and she had a reuben, truffle fries and bloody mary. Service was a tad slow but my meal was awesome. I'm not normally a fry girl but these were good. My dining partner... More

My husband and I had just taken a walk through Central Park when we decided it was too cold to be outside any longer. My husband was in search of a bar/restaurant with a television and this is the first place we saw so we ducked in for 1 drink. 1 drink turned into quite a few because of the... More
