Excellent service, typical NYC large portions, and great quality. Not always easy to find all 3 in New York. They offer everything from Sushi & seafood to perfectly cooked steak & pasta - the whole nine-yards. Couldn't fault it & will go back again for breakfast.

Friendly, waitstaff. Good cocktail specials. Excellent blue ribbon burger with truffle, parmesan french fries. Delicious king crab sushi. Very enjoyable meal. Nice atmosphere. One very minor flaw is the long staircase down to restrooms.

I usually eat here many times during any NYC visit, and I've yet to be anything other than wonderfully satisfied and sated! They've got the craziest menu: everything from home cooking to sushi to Italian. While I always order a filet mignon, I was curious how a place that made such gorgeous beef dishes could actually make sushi. Well I... More

Enjoyed a great late night dinner at Rue 57 with business colleagues. An unseasonably warm October night brought out sidewalk seating and dinner guests and me into Rue 57 for a great late night dinner. From sushi to steak to french cuisine and desserts my business colleagues and I enjoyed a great dinner in the fun and bustling ambience of... More

It was our last day in New York and we wanted to have a great ending to a great trip. Rue 57 was just the ticket. The service and food was excellent. I have the chopped chicken salad and my daughter had the chicken sandwich. If there is a way to have perfection, Rue 57 was actually able to provide... More

We stopped in the late afternoon early evening and had the French Onion Soup and homemade Pomme Frites. Delicious. The service was excellent as well. Soup & Fries was about $20 wine was $15 per glass for the Bordeaux which seemed a bit much, but what the hey:)

This restaurant/bar was the best lunch break we found in NYC. We went here after 3 hours cycling in Central Park- it was close to Central Park and came recommended by staff at the cycle hire store. We chose to have a turkey sandwich and fries but this wasn't just any ordinary sandwich. It stood about 5-6 inches tall and was... More

Be it coffee, breakfast, dinner - Rue 57 is a purveyor of fine food, great wines, and characteristic service. It is a great corner location, and you can imbibe at street level or below, with great atmosphere, a fresh menu - all resonably priced. A perrenial for me!

Sure the service was a little slow, but every time we were about to give up, she would appear and apologize, which goes a long way toward mitigating the frustration. And once we ordered, our food came rather quickly. We were going to a New Yorker Festival event and wanted a light repast beforehand. We had the mussels with pommes... More
