Had dinner with friends prior to the theatre. Unlike other reviews, service was very attentive until the end. Things were moving along until the end when it was difficult to capture the waiter's attention for the check---even though it was asked for and he was advised from the outset at 5:30 we were going to a 7pm theatre. The edamame... More

A wonderful restaurant in an area of Manhattan that has been "coming back" for the past 20 years. This is primarily a brunch menu whatever that might mean to you. There are excellent choices that would qualify as a breakfast or lunch. The drinks are as good as the food and the service matches that quality standard. Hell's Kitchen does... More

I just happened to see restaurant while walking on 9th Avenue. The salmon salad was beautifully served and not drowning in dressing. My companions shared the macaroni and cheese and wow - this was over the top good! Great dining experience!

We had an early reservation, 5 pm, so we could have a light bite before a 7 pm play. The Eatery only had about 4 tables of customers. Our waiter acted like we were bothering him. Maybe he was upset because we didn't order alcohol, and he thought we wouldn't leave a big tip. He never came to our table... More

The menu is actually good, and they open early on weekends unlike most brunch places in Hells Kitchen. They switch up the variety of pancakes and the food is usually tasty and the atmosphere very nice. It would be really nice for them to reconsider their iced tea...its $4.00 for one of the smallest teas I have ever seen and... More

We went to this place because it was the rain was intense and it was the closest place. The menu was decent and the quality of the food was ok. Nothing to extravagant. However, for the price, I was actually expecting the place to be a little bit more of everything. The place looked dirty overall specially the restrooms.

A tour guide recommended 9th Ave and Hell's Kitchen for good value for money restaurants and on strolling through it we discovered Eatery on the corner of 53rd St. What a find! The menu suited all our tastes; fish, steak, chicken, pasta all featured. There was a good selection on the wine list with some nice European wines at affordable... More

Always packed. Great food and booze. Waiters are attentive. Just try to book reservations or it's a mess.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on one of the last nights of our honeymoon- we wish we would have found it sooner. It is hard being a vegan and finding places to eat on your first trip to New York, but finding this place AND having a big choice of dishes that would suit me and my meat... More
