We have tried for years to get a reservation when in NYC but we're always too late so this year we called a month in advance. Our group grew up to 12 so accommodating us all was an adventure. Olivia and Nicholas were very helpful and kind. We ended up in a small private room behind the kitchen with our... More

It's been a while since we have been to this innovative and high quality farm table specialist. They rescued us tonight with a late walk in after a disaster at neighboring Babbo. And were we glad we came! Both tasting menus were superb. Amuse Bouche of raw and seasonal turnips, carrots and artichokes, each with a flavorsome sauce. Wines. Y... More

We hadn't been to Blue Hill for a couple of years now on our visits, but are so glad we added it back on our itinerary on this trip. The service is impeccable and they have the best home made gluten free bread i have ever tasted. Every course we had was top notch and I would recommend the 3... More

We had wanted to go to this restaurant for quite a while and were finally able to get a reservation. The food for the most part did not disappoint and the atmosphere is lovely. The price of the dinner is costly most likely do to the tremendous number of people they have on their staff. There seemed to be more... More

Concept and food is amazing! The prefix menu was perfect. In particular the lentil soup which could have been a main course, extraordinary. Hard to know you are in the West Village when the egg dish came with straw on the plate under the skillet. Quite nice. Sad to say, our waiter seemed rather pretentious, preoccupied and impatient. However, they... More

Nice dining room, warm and elegant. Avoid the back room if you are push into it by the staff. We went for the 4 course not the prefix. Veggies for starters were the best part of the meal, good and well presented. All our warm dishes came to the table cold, not acceptable. Avoid the carrot steak as a main... More

Can't praise this place enough. We opted for full farmers feast of 6courses that looked more interesting and better value than 4course. We were so happy we did that. Very busy restaurant. Great staff and amazing food.

I have read about Dan Barber and his unique take on farm-to-table for some time, so I really wanted to try Blue Hill on one of our trips to NYC. On past visits I had been unable to secure a reservation, but this time we tried almost two months ahead... and it worked. You have two options for your meal:... More

We took some out of town guests here at their request and we were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience. Unfortunately, our out of town guests were lost in the subway so they missed our 5:30 reservation. Thankfully, the fabulous hostess Christina went out of her way to move some tables around and was able to accommodate us in a... More
