Been to Blue hill on the farm before, but this was our first time going to restaurant in they city. Although the service was great I thought the food fell below my expectations. We had the tasting and I can only think of one dish that I would actually want to reorder. I also don't usually comment on pricing but... More

I have visited this restaurant as offered a unique experience. Surprisingly it is a small place, had a felling that it got very very crowded.Too many staff around, feels like more staff than guests. The food is nice, good quality, but found a bit expensive, compared to the portions. The staff is attentive, if they eventually get to your table.... More

Blue Hill never disappoints. Even down to the bread served. It is magical what the chef does with vegetables--and every other dish that is prepared. From scallops to the Blue Hill signature egg dish and the venison, all spectacular and so uniquely flavored. The service is exemplary. Wish we could get there more often!

This restaurant serves excellent food. There are menus of four or six courses plus amuses Bouches Everything is delicious although the ingredients sometime overwhelm the basic product, for instance the mackerel did not taste like mackerel . The venison was too salty. Very large pleasant staff appears very busy and eager. The drawbacks : The place is small and somewhat cramped.... More

Blue Hill's menu is comprised of a daily 4 course meal at $85 per person, featuring 3 options per course or their Farmer's Feast: a set menu of 6 courses priced at $98. Accommodations will be made for food allergies etc. and the entire table does not have to participate in the 4 or 6 course option. (thank you!) While... More

We have tried for years to get a reservation when in NYC but we're always too late so this year we called a month in advance. Our group grew up to 12 so accommodating us all was an adventure. Olivia and Nicholas were very helpful and kind. We ended up in a small private room behind the kitchen with our... More

It's been a while since we have been to this innovative and high quality farm table specialist. They rescued us tonight with a late walk in after a disaster at neighboring Babbo. And were we glad we came! Both tasting menus were superb. Amuse Bouche of raw and seasonal turnips, carrots and artichokes, each with a flavorsome sauce. Wines. Y... More

We hadn't been to Blue Hill for a couple of years now on our visits, but are so glad we added it back on our itinerary on this trip. The service is impeccable and they have the best home made gluten free bread i have ever tasted. Every course we had was top notch and I would recommend the 3... More
