I have a sensitive palate and Da Nico's sauce is smooth with just the right amount of seasoning. Basically no need for an antacid tablet after indulging on a variety of entrees. Therefore, I visited Da Nico a second time within a six week period and as usual I was not disappointed, in fact, they have gained a returning customer... More

First impressions were very good, staff friendly but my pasta vongole was ruined by burnt garlic so I didn't really eat it. Should really have sent it back, the table next to us had the same dish and it looked lovely so I obviously got unlucky.

We went to this restaurant after a show in NYC and we ended up getting there an hour earlier then our reservation but they still sat us in their patio. Everyone from our party didn't arrive yet; we were missing two people who were coming from Queens. We ordered a bottle of wine and talked for a while till they... More

This is one of the best restaurant I have been in New York. The pastas are good and rich sauces! Very pleasant atmosphere. Bread and pizza pie dough very good quality. The waiter Adem, who attended to my sisters and mom It is very nice, sympathetic and funny. Actually when I go back to NY to go to dinner at... More

My title says it all! The pasta was fresh cooked, our meals arrived within minutes, hot, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, our party of 8 ate inside as there was no room in the garden or the front outdoor seating area. All in all a pleasant experience. We would dine here again.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I took my out of town family here. My eight year old niece has a severe nut allergy. Before we sat down, we advised waiter and all staff of same. Repeatedly before every course, reminded waiter and person delivering food "nut allergy". Upon desert, we again told waiter, he said, "YES! I know, no nuts!" We... More

the hotel recommended this place; we were a little leery since it looks touristy (as does all of little Italy) but gave it a shot. Ate in the garden, very quiet. I had the special seafood dish--it was literally enough for 2. and at $48, should have been split! But, I never asked so I can't blame them. it was... More

We stayed in NYC last year during Labor Day weekend. That Sunday we decided to head into Little Italy for dinner. It's a very small place but we were lucky enough to be seated outside. I was the perfect night for it! We enjoyed delicious wine and food under the stars. The bread was amazing and the fried mozzarella was... More

When you go, if the weather is good, ask to sit in the garden. They will take you away from the noisy street into a pleasant terrace at the back. The food there was good but I would not call it spectacular. It was all freshly made and there were fresh herb flavours. The service and the wine was good... More
