Enjoy traditional Northern and Southern Italian cuisine at Da Nico. The beautiful indoor dining room is a favorite among movie stars, New York Yankees and former Mayor Giuliani. The casual, family-friendly atmosphere welcomes you to dine on "The Best Coal Brick Oven Pizza," or one of the delicious items on the menu. Specialties include lobster fra diavolo, baby lamb chops and veal chops. Call for the day's specials. During the summer, Da Nico features a large outdoor garden which doubles its normal seating capacity. Da Nico is also available for your private parties. There are many keys to having a great dining experience. With that in mind, consider Da Nico the master locksmith of Little Italy!

Food was average. Chicken wasn't anything special. Service was nothing above and beyond but wasn't terrible. Waiter seemed a little impatient with one of the patrons we were with. However, he wasn't downright rude. Got better throughout the time we were there

During a girls' weekend in the city, we went to DaNico on Mulberry Street in Little Italy. What a delight! The service from the time we walked in the door to the time we walked out was excellent. The calamari was delicious, as were all of our entrees and dessert. The waiters were very friendly and personable, very helpful with... More

On a cool March evening, my wife and I decided to head to Little Italy to have some dinner. We chose Da Nico as our venue. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left the service was warm and friendly - unlike the weather outside. We were lead to a cosy table upstairs which had a wonderful... More

We had lunch there during the holidays. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food was OK. The portions are generous and the restaurant is family friendly.

It is a lively ambience..and the service staff brings the feel of "family" right to the table...All of our apps were served quickly and hot..The calamari , the fried mozzarella...delicious! as a previous review stated- we were all envious of... Located in the heart of Little Italy this restaurant knocked. Our socks off. Really great food. Everyone was jealous over everyone else's dish. Everything was delicious. Wine was terrific. Service was superb. Highly recommend. 👍👍👍👍

We went here with friends on the Sunday before Christmas, having reserved before our trip. We were ignored for 10 minutes and then shown to a lovely table upstairs. The food was delicious and the portion size good. The evening was truly spoilt, however, when the waiter challenged us over the size of the tip we gave. We have visited... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
