Not many locals here but, love the food!

Sometimes we have tourist day in NYC and go to Da nicos. Had veal marsala today and it was good. Great service today. Always a pleasure.

"You picked a great place, ladies!" greeted us from exiting customers as we entered Da Nico's. I thought that was a great start to our dining experience. With so many restaurants to choose from in a small radius, we had walked around and decided to try Da Nico's because of the variety on the menu, the fact that it had... More

Ate dinner here as a family of five while walking around LIttle Italy. Wait staff were pleasant. The food was good. We got in without difficulty. There is a large room that had a huge group so it would a place to remember if you are traveling with a school group.

Ignore people who say Little Italy is a tourist trap and no good can be found there. The first bit might be right but clearly they have never visited this little star of a restaurant. The brick oven makes the most amazing, authentic pizzas, focaccia and bruschetta. The friendly staff will accommodate pretty much any request (and they had a... More

Wonderful little restaurant in Little Italy. I had the shrimp linguine and hubby had the bolognese. The food was presented fabulously and tasted lovely. Lots of flavour and the shrimp were huge and tasty. Service was too notch from the waiter and all other staff members were friendly. Two mains and two bottles of peroni $50 including tip.

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge and sales assistant at Tiffanys. We were not disappointed. Service was great and food did not disappoint. Family of 5 and ordered 5 different meals, everyone was satisfied. Coffee was also nice - which has been very hard to get in the USA. Was also a interesting area to visit if a tourist... More

An excellent place to eat lunch if you're looking for authentic Italian place in Little Italy. Ignore reviews complaining about the service as these guys are authentic and don't cater to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company tourist crowd. Loved it.

We were looking for a place to eat in little italy and the advertised garden area led us to choose this restaurant. Unfortunately the garden was closed and the food was underwhelming. Quantity > quality.

Visited Da Nico for late lunch. The place do not look too impressing and the service was not overwhelming, but the food was verry good and tasty. One of the best lasagne I have eaten.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
