A small treasure in SOHO

Love this place-- it's very small and the food is awesome. Friendly service and great selection (hard to choose!). Eat here if you're in SOHO!

This VERY small place has one of the best Greek food of all the city. The owners are always there to give a great service. Expect to wait as they only have a few tables, but it's worth it.

The food at snack is a selection of popular Greek dishes. The appetizer tray is good as is the Greek salad. We were underwhelmed with the main courses. There are 4-5 tables here so it's sometimes hard to get seated.

Really small cute place but with a quite extensive Greek style menu. We sat outside on a bench waiting for a table and had a home-made mint lemonade, delicious. There were lots of lovely gourds in the window display where we sat and could watch the two old New York ladies having a chat on another bench outside. The Greek... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Soho. When we got to NYC we were starved as we got caught in a torrential downpour and then lost. I wanted a simple yet delicious meal and that's exactly what we got here. Greek food which tastes so authentic and homemade, I could have cried. I had the pastitsio which is a... More

We were in Soho looking for a small meal/salad to tie us over as we had late dinner reservations at a nice place. The salads we had here were great as was their mint lemonade. Everything was homemade in the place. I'd stop in again.

Went with a friend, had spanakopita, beet root salad, lamb. Nice meal would come back again. Shame there were no meatballs, had heard they were legendary. Next time.

And they treated us like long lost friends. Great Greek tapas. The best yoghurt and baklava I've eaten in a long time, good Greek coffee, and some creative snacks. Very hip decor and lovely, lovely people running it.

When I walked in I told them I wanted a gyro, but they told me this was a restaurant that served food just like if you went to your Grandma's house in Greece. I decided to give it a try. I had a veal and rice dish. It was quite tasty, I just wish the portions were larger.

When my visiting brother and sister-in-law jokingly (well, half-jokingly) said they wanted to build a weekend itinerary around food, I knew lamb sandwiches at Snack were a must. Our parents are Aussies, so we know our way around lamb done right. The sandwiches feature braised shredded lamb (melts in your mouth) with arugula and peppers on ciabatta rolls. The spread,... Staying in SoHo
