I went here to take my future wife here before proposing to her. One of the most memorable places we've dined in. If you get a chance to have the black sea bass...do it. Don't ask questions, just order it. It is still the best plate we've EVER had.

Danielle is just superb. Very formal but in a relaxed, luxury way and the food is true French and just glorious. Every bite is a delight. The wine pairings are great suggestions and the French selections of wine are outstanding. Many are well within a moderate price range too. My daughter and I go to Danielle's and sit in the... More

They offered great advice on wines and food choices. There were two of us having the tasting menu and the wine package and everything was amazing. The Chef even took the time to visit each table and engaged with his customers.

We went to Daniel with understandably high expectations. Also, maybe, with a little fatigue of well-rated restaurants not really delivering. Daniel was quite simply outstanding. The service, atmosphere and, most importantly, the taster menu were all first class. Not one of the seven dishes disappointed, but we also found ourselves happily harping on about the quality of the bread and... More

This was in itself the best meal and restaurant experience my husband and I have ever had. we dined at Daniel almost 5 years ago, and I can still remember every detail of every dish. I was fortunate enough to have a connection, a VIP treatment so to speak that came through our dear friends. We were a party of... More

My colleague and I had to entertain two of our favorite clients who love haut cuisine. I can't describe the excitement my announcement of the dinner venue caused, and it was well, well deserved. We all did the 7 course dinner, and three of us had the higher end wine pairing. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. One of... More

Our dinner at Daniel's was really an experience! Maybe the best restaurant we have ever been. We had the 7 course meal and a bottle of wine. It's was expensive but it worth it every penny! The flavor combinations were amazing! The atmosphere and service were also excellent! We definitely recommend that place!

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
