Excellent food and service. Price good value. Men will need a jacket however. The restaurant will loan you one theirs if you have forgotten. I will happily return. A great experience.

60th Birthday for my wife and 25th wedding anniversary. Made reservations 30 days in advance as required for reservations. Waited 30 minutes to be seated, while we were served $22.00 martinis. Seated in the bleacher section of the restaurant. Were told the "main dining room" seats were reserved. How can that be when I made reservations @ 9:05 exactly on... More

Excellent balance of flavours, wonderful service. It is very expensive but this is fine dining at it's best. Highlights were the langoustines and the parfait. As in a lot of high-end restaurants gentlemen are required to wear a coat. My only issue is that in Daniel it was actually quite uncomfortably hot for the first hour of dinner while the... More

Our second visit in a year was still perfection. A great, dramatic room with wonderful discreet service and honest, brilliant French cooking. The tastes are clean, rich and slightly overwhelming- in a wonderful way. We went for the wine pairing option and the waiters replenished our glasses constantly. Easily one of my favourite restaurants in the world. Superlative and a... More

Absolutley delicious! We always eat here when we visit the city. We ate before a show, and the staff was friendly and made sure we were on time for the theatre. The food is always wonderful and the wine list is great. Our favorite place in the city.

Fabulous. Perfect. We had the tasting menu tonight celebrating our wedding anniversary. Every single course was so distinctly flavorful. The service was impeccable. I can't say enough. Just go. Loved the ambiance. The icing on the cake was the kitchen tour, and Chef Daniel Boulud's office tour. What a fabulous evening in the greatest city in America.

We celebrate our anniversary here every year. The food is sublime and the service is excellent. This is a very formal restaurant with jacket and tie expected for men. Every meal we eat here is memorable. This is one of the best restaurants in New York and it is perfect for a special occasion.

This restaurant is romantic and the food is amazing! The price fixed menu is worth every penny of $125.00. We didn't try the tasting menu but received so many delicious amuse bouche to try that it felt like a tasting menu! Daniel is a very nice person and an excellent chef! We were lucky enough to meet him and although... More
