I took my wife to Daniel for her 50th birthday (a long trip from Sydney) and it was simply incredible. By far the best dining experience we have ever had...and we dine in great restaurants all over the world. We went with the tasting menu and some of the dishes almost brought me to tears; the blend of flavours and... More

The food, atmosphere, and service at Daniel are outstanding. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $200 per person, and likely considerably more, but you will feel that the money was well spent. The staff is respectful, professional, and attentive without a hint of condescension. As with all gastronomic French restaurants many menu items are more reflective of trendiness than... More

Amazing restaurant. Definitely a place to go to for a special occasion. Great atmosphere. While we were there a well known actress was sitting a couple of tables away. Won't reveal her name as we all like our privacy. The waiters were excellent. Expensive but worth it.

Celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary, it was everything we wanted, except... bartenders were professional, but not friendly at all, and screwed up our drink orders not once, but twice. But we were not there for the drinks, after all. We were there... to be frank... get the full monty and Michelin level, i.e., awesome, food. And Daniel did not fail... More

Looked up trip advisor and Booked a table for 2 with a mate to enjoy a 3 Michelin star restaurant NYC and it didn't disappoint. Have been to quite a few 3 michelins star restaurants around the world and Daniels deserves it's accolades and it's trip advisor rating. Was pondering the 6 course tasting menu but we went all out... The restaurant is beautiful and the food delicious but the staff acted like they were doing you a favor to serve you. We have been several times to this restaurant but this time they just went through the motions like robots. They did not even offer us the cheese tray or seemed interested in having satisfied customers. There are many... More

Restaurant : 3 michellin starred daniel. Ambience : Dark cosy warm..high ornate french ceilings, dimmed candlelight, white starched tablecloth, polished cutlery, sparkling wine glasses.... Service : Very attentive, unobtruduve and obviously well versed in the cuisine they are serving. But lack of a personal touch.... Food : We ordered the signature courses incl: 1. Jade dragon abalone in butter....abalone and... More

I had the six course tasting meals...it was Par. the food was nothing to get overly excited about, and the wine either. Neither was bad, just not what I was expecting from all I have heard about. I always give places a second try, so I will before I write this one off.
