Kudos to Victor's!

Victor's Cafe was awesome. Both the service and the food were what I would have considered great on a regular week day, so it was phenomenal on New Years Eve just a few steps from the madness surrounding Times Square. By far the best Mojito I've ever had as well. Give this place a try if you're... read more

This is my absolute favorite Cuban restaurant ever. Everything on their menu is delicious and if I could I would eat here everyday. If you are visiting New York or just need a new place to eat- make sure you visit Victor's and be hungry because the food is exceptional

We chose this restaurant because we had only about 30 minutes before we show time (Jersey Boys). Victor's is across the road from the theatre. We told the staff that we had limited time and they accommodated us. Ours was a party of three and we were served and were able to eat our meal (a bit quickly) in the... More

We ate in the bar because we didn't have reservations. The atmosphere is perfect and what you would expect. The food was excellent and the wine list very good. it is a bit pricey, but well worth it!

My friend and I stumbled on it after a Broadway show, thought it would satisfy our cravings for drink...The server, Diego, said the mojitos had been voted best in town by NYTimes and whether the TImes did have a sayso, our say so was they were fantastic: garnished with ample mint and a cane sugar swizzler. We came for the drinks,... More

We decided to try Victor's Cafe because we never really had authentic Cuban food. We checked the outdoor invitation menu, the prices were steep, but it's NYC. We went in and were really blown away by the interior. Really nice. Clean. Good ambiance. Alas, we didn't have reservations so we opted to eat at the bar. Nicole was our server,... More

My husband and I had dinner here between theatre performances. Everything was quite good. It took a while before any one approached our table after we had been seated. The menu had a good selection of interesting items. We ordered the appetizer selection for 2, ropa vieja, the house specialty and arroz con pollo. It was all good, not great,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
