Ultimate Times Square Pizza Experience

We ate at John's for lunch in the middle of the week. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was both relaxing and enjoyable, and the food was Ahhhmazing! We had pizza and garlic rolls. Wow! Don't make it to the city very often, but we'll be back!

We wanted pizza and it was recommended at the hotel where we were staying. We checked their menu on line and it looked interesting and reasonable so we ate there before going to our Broadway play. The fried calamari was one of the best...fried perfectly and it was nice and tender. not tough at all. Sauce was good, too. Chicken... More

This is THE place to go in NYC for pizza and calzone. Located at 44th and 8th Ave which is close to Times Square. Food was delicious and service was great. I will definitely return to John's when I'm back in NYC. Also, I found they had great prices.

The pizza is ok. Not the best pizza you can eat, but it is ok value for the money. The pasta was tasteless. What ever you do: Do not order ant of the pasta disches. The local was ok, but a bit cold. All in all: This is a place where I can dine again.

While a little expensive, like everything in New York City, I was impressed by the tanginess and spicy flavor of the sauce, the crispness of the brick oven baked crust as well as the quality flavor of the mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni used our pizza. The adapted reuse Church building provides a interesting and comfortable atmosphere and the service was attentive... More

It looks small from the outside, however, inside, it is two levels of a cool decorated restaurant. The service was great, however, Ive had better pizza and to me it was expensive. I wish they had slices of pizza instead of the sizes of pizza that they serve.

John's is one of the places we like to revisit when we are in NYC! The food (both appetizers and pizzas) is really tasty. When the place is crowded, the atmosphere is fun and energetic. This time we went right at opening time (11:30am) for lunch, and it was not crowded at all. And I love that it is in... More

Went here as it was close to our hotel the RowNYC and we really fancied a good new York pizza. Read the reviews and went to John's. The pizza was pretty average. Yes it was large in size but the pizza menu wasn't that extensive as you have to add all the toppings you want at an extra cost. The... More

First time in NY I wanted to taste the best pizza around, well I opened my Trip advisor and I found this restaurant. Location is very close to the TimeSquare . The place is very cruddy but very nice place. Now remember it's take time to order or get a table. For me it took 20-30 min, so advise in... More

We ate here and were not disappointed. Best pizza I have ever had and we loved the atmosphere, being in a restored old church.

Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown.
