This place was an old church and the fascinating decor complete with stained glass and balcony. Is worth the stop. Plus the city vibe and excited ambiance is so infectious. You can't help but feel the NY buzz even if everyone around you is from out of town. The pizza was tasty and garlic knots more so. It didn't seem... More

Pizza was excellent and almost too huge to finish. The place was very busy which is a good sign for then quality of the food. Good bar area for drinks whilst waiting to be seated. Good place for decent food in a touristy area.

First off, the garlic knots were out of this world! The pizza was good but not incredible. Then, I made the mistake of ordering a panini (see pictures). The 'panini' was made on white sandwich bread and the pesto was barely there as well. The sandwich was served with a mixed green salad that was dressed with so much white... More

My husband and I come from australia which has very different pizza to America. We loved our experience!! It was delicious and had a beautiful pizza oven flavour! The prices were excellent considering the size! A small is like an australian large, so this was more than enough for two people to share! We also had a Caesar salad as... More

We tried out Johns on the advice of the hotel concierge. They took a church and made a classy pizza parlor out of this place. The service from the time we arrived till the minute we left was great. We had the fried mozzarella for an appetizer and a large pizza for the main course. The pizza took less than... More

If you are in the mood for pizza, John's is a great place to go. The salad was great too and enough for 2.

Unique setting for a pizza joint, which is really what this is. Beautiful architecture. Pizza and garlic rolls where very tasty but the real pleasure was the service. Our waiter was extremely attentive and even sat with us to show us pictures of his Christmas Tree. Amazingly he was able to make every table he served feel special.

Busy place which is always a good sign. The clay oven cooked pizza is a treat. The numerous cooking stations makes the pizzas roll pretty quickly.

This is more of a warning review than a negative review. We never actually had a chance to try out the pizza. We first tried getting in on a Saturday evening. I know, poor planning. The line extended down the street at least 50 feet. We then tried Sunday morning. We got there at 11:00am and there was a line... More

This was a very fancy looking place for just pizza. We were surprised how nice it was inside. The pizza was very good for New York Pizza. I recommend a visit and it was not too expensive.
