Excellent food! Great service! Affordable!

Nothing overly fancy at this place. BUT the food was incredible. We had bruchetta as an app and the raviloi. It was super fresh and steaming hot. Loved it. Our server Diego did a fantastic job. He was fast, pleasant, and friendly. The best part, other than the great food were the prices!!! Hard... read more

We loved this restaurant. We actually stopped here on a whim and later discovered that John's is highly recommended by locals and tourists! The red sauce on the pizza was probably my favorite red sauce ever. We also enjoyed the garlic knots filled with cheesy goodness! If only they delivered to TX... The only complaint I have is the service.... More

When in New York you have to have a New York pizza. We went to John's Pizzeria right next to the Broadway theater we had just visited to get ours. We had to wait around 30 minutes for a table but it was worth the wait. The pizza was fantastic. One of the best I have tasted. Definitely worth a... More

My wife and I and our families ate at John's last week during our stay in New York after my Dad read reviews that they serve the best pizzas in New York. They were nice enough but I cannot imagine they are the best in New York unless I am missing something. On the plus side, the staff are very... More

We went to John's Pizzeria and it was very busy, we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table but the bar area is nice for a drink while waiting. The waiting staff are very attentive to your needs and are very friendly, they seem to genuinely enjoy conversing with the customers. The pizza is very tasty and the... More

The pizza at john's is hyped as one of the best. Not so. The pie was burnt and the ingredients were sparse. Service was good and quick. Friendly staff. Prices are moderate for a sit down restaurant. If you aboslutely don't need a sit down with full service, eat elsewhere. Many better choices close by.

located in the heart of times square on 44th street near 8th ave, situated in an old church. Some of the best pizza pie around. They do not sell slices, just whole pies. I love the margarita pie

My sister and I ate at this restaurant for lunch on May 17, 2015. We heard it was the best pizza in New York and we definitely agreed. The staff were very nice. Our food was delivered quickly and was amazing. Best pizza ever. We are definitely going back our next trip to New York.

In town for a conference and came here with a client for a casual lunch. We had a Hawaiian pizza and substituted prosciutto for ham and waiter did not blink! Thin crust and we ate every inch of the crust. Came back with work colleagues at night and got there early so we would not be waiting for a table.... More

What an experience!! Try to get seated on the second floor of the restaurant. The building was an old church, so you can still see parts of the architecture!! The pizza was awesome!! They use old fashion wood burning stoves, so the crust is amazing!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
