We took our group of 30 to John's before seeing "Phantom". Our experience was excellent. The food was amazing and the service was great. The desserts were incredible!

Just left John's Pizzeria in Times Square. I was not at all impressed. It was about 4PM when I was seated and before their rush hour. I was seated by a window which was the best part of the meal being able to watch people walking down the street past the restaurant. I ordered a small (6 slices=$20) pizza (They... More

Found this restaurant just walking around. It was busy but they got us in pretty quick. Family of 5: ordered large pizza and whole loaf garlic bread. It was plenty of food. The pizza was great. But the garlic bread was awesome. Also ordered a house salad to share. It was also good. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner last week as this place had been recommended to us but we were very disappointed! The food was ok but the service was terrible. We waited half an hour to be seated which was ok as we hadn't booked but then it took a further twenty minutes before anyone came to take our drink or food... More

This is a church that has been converted into a restaurant whose specialty is pizza. Located in the theatre district it's the perfect place to dine without costing a fortune. It is definitely not your typical pizzeria.

Hey, you gotta eat pizza in NYC don't you? Yes, this place is in heart of touristy Times Square. So what? We've stopped for late night pizza (10:00 or so) the last 2 trips. We were seated immediately. Pizza was hot and good. You want gourmet, go somewhere else. You want traditional NYC pizza for a family in a hurry?... More

Stopped in after the theatre - great pizza & wine. Interesting atmosphere and décor. We sat in the upper level, loved the stained glass ceiling

Johns Pizza is very convenient to anywhere in Times Square area. We went after attending a Broadway Show. It is located in an old Mormon Church....cool setting. The appetizers, drinks and pizza.....all so good!!!! Don't sit too close to the back of the restaurant though....the brick oven heat made it a little warm!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
