This was our third visit to NYC and our fourth to Johns. Their pizza is delicious and hard to beat and I recommend it to anyone visiting Manhatten! The meatball pizza is delicious!

We've been there recommended by some friends and asked for a small Pepperoni pizza for 2 the person. When we saw the "small" pizza, was like european big size. The pizza was really good and the service was really fast and the space as a very nice environment. It's a must go!

We went here multiple times and while standing in line called in a pie....best thing to do. Thin thin crust and sauce to die for!

I've been to John's several times. To tell the truth I come every time I am in NYC because I love the ambience. It's old! The walls are all carved up with people's names. Famous people, regulars, and tourists alike. It's dark with a reddish lighting and cozy. The pizza is good. Not the best New York pizza in my... More

We didn't try any other pizza, to be fair, but we loved it and heard another person outside telling someone the same thing. Crispy crust, melty cheese, cool vibe with wooden benches carved with messages. The waitress wasn't super attentive but we didn't need her to be, really. Just don't expect a ton of refills without asking. We had a... More

We were told about this place on a tour of Greenwich Village. The staff were very helpful without being overbearing. But the Pizza was to die for, thin crusty base (irregular shape) and fresh tasty ingredients for the toppings. Beer choice was a little limited (US beer choice was only a couple) but plenty of imported beers. We were not... More

I went early on a Friday night for pizza at John's, on a recommendation from a friend. The pizza was quite good, although the smallest size was a medium, which realistically was too much food for one person (I wasn't in a position to take the left overs home). I hear that the place can get crowded. The cost was... More

John's has been a New York institution for decades, and remains a go-to destination for pizza aficionados. Being such a big tourist spot, I tended to avoid the place whenever I was in the West Village, but finally caved in and went late on a Thursday night. It was packed even at 9:30, and I can imagine the wait being... More

When I am in NYC I always try to make a trip to John's of Bleeker Street. Located in Greenwich Village (the best location in my opinion) the restaurant is nothing fancy...just an old school pizzeria with wooden booths that has been serving the best coal fired brick oven pizza for 84 years. The menu is simple: pick a large... More

Having lived in the Village I have been to John's over the years. The place has history as well as good pizza. The service is always friendly, reasonable prices.
