Not sushi but even better!

We went to Blue Ribbon late one evening thinking we were going to the Sushi place which turns out to be a few doors up the road. However the place was buzzing and we got the last table so we stayed. Really nice plate of oysters, lobster Dan crab, washed down with a glass of chilled white wine... read more

Wonderful food, it's open late and many New Yorkers recommend it. Prompt, delicious and consistent. Highly recommended.

Unbelievable food. Everything off the menu was absolutely done to perfection, even the bread. After arriving here as a late night, we stopped in for a late birthday dinner. I had the duck, my boyfriend had the fried chicken. Both dishes were impeccable and we could not chose which one was the winner. Being full, I left two pieces of... More

This place was recommended by a local New Yorker when I was looking for a solid date-night spot while visiting town. It's unassuming and fairly small, typical of a French-style brasserie, with seats close enough together that you get to know your neighbors. Cocktails are excellent. The special poblano soup was really nice. The server recommended the catfish - which... More

We enjoyed this sort of local hidden gem in Soho. To be safe, you definitely need to make a reservation for this small cosy restaurant with eclectic modern brasserie fare. We started with the diverse Po Po Platter. It was delicious, especially the ribs. The salads were fresh and not over dressed. The skirt steak was favorful and not overwelming.... More

Cozy, friendly, great food and amazing service - coordinated and graceful, but not stuffy, very friendly staff. A bit noisy, depending on the crowd and night f the week (it is Soho).

A great cocktail by the friendly bar staff starts your evening with consistent service that follows all night. Once you get beyond the raw bar choices there are plenty of options to consider. Portions allow for multiple courses.

We all enjoyed our dishes...the pigeon was enjoyed, catfish a little spicy, and the fried chicken and roast duck in Orange sauce were nice but maybe a little bit too much protein on the plate...a little less would have been perfect. The Bruno dessert is delicious but very rich! We barely got through it and there were 4 of us... More

Blue Ribbon is consistently a great dining experience for us. Typically we'll arrive early and graze on the various delicious fresh seafood offerings. Impossible to go wrong on this menu. The fried chicken, paella, bone marrow, ribs are all great - the challenge for us is to leave enough room after all that seafood. Service is top shelf, so professional... More

Very good food. A must is the Fried Chicken with honey. Portions are large and can be shared. Service is very attentive.
