Fabulous food!

Amazing restaurant in soho, worth the wait and crowds. Went twice for dinner on a short trip to NYC and found it amazing both times. It was around the corner from where I was staying and thought it was a lovely accident after delays and frustrations at the airport and it was open late at night. Two... read more

This charming restaurant is known for it's fried chicken (which I did not have), but it could be known for its Bass. If I would have thought it charming to lick the plate I would have done so. Followed by fresh berries and home made whipped cream--yum. Only a few tables but felt no rush. Wait staff was lovely. Could... More

Excellent late night find. Great menu for late night foodies on the prowl. Tis place has everything. Sweet breads, lobster, catfish and fried chicken plus the daily specials. Awesome wine list and always a very relaxed crowd and an awesome waitstaff.

Appetizers and entrees: simply the best. Savory, succulent natural flavors merely coaxed by the right amount of seasoning. Had sauteed calamari and shrimp remoulade appetizers: fresh flavors of the calamari swimming in natural juice broth crock; perfectly charred shrimp with piquant remoulade in a bed of crusted jullienned zucchini. Whole flounder was delicate, moist, and flavorful. Boullaibase featured distinctive bursts... More

The place looks great, the dishes looked great, the waiter was nice - all seemed very promising. But that's kinda where it ended. It took too long for our food to arrive (we ordered ribs and fried chicken) and when it finally did - it was ok, but not exceptional. Wouldn't really recommend this place...

We had heard wonderful things about this Soho restaurant and were disappointed in the food and service. Neither were "bad", but also nothing exceptional about which to write.

This was our best dinner is NY, mainly because of the fact that every dish that came out of the kitchen was executed to perfection. We started with the Beef Marrow & Oxtail Marmalade, which was just brilliant. bold flavors and a nice size dish made it a perfect start. we also ordered the Warm Goat Cheese Salad, which is... More

We completely enjoyed our meal. The Greek salad was full of flavor. The entrees were delicious and served warm. My daughter had the steak and I had the salmon and both dishes are recommended! Service was excellent. The food is pricey, but delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and everything was perfect.

Oh blue ribbon. What's happened to you? Once a NYC staple, now perhaps you've spread yourself thin across the city and have stopped paying attention to, oh, I don't know, the food? We ordered foie gras, bone marrow as appetizers. The foie gras was fine, the same Hudson valley foie gras you can buy at Zabars or Citarella or Fairway.... More

Oh how lovely! The Fish soup was hot with the right amount of spice and Fish! The Hummus was made to perfection and the Lobster was the best I had in New York so far! The vibe is relaxed yet exciting. Well done Blue Ribbon! .... I will be back!
