Great upmarket steakhouse

Del Frisco's is an excellent upmarket steakhouse restaurant located just off Ave of the Americas in Midtown. The food is really very good but the noise level downstairs makes it virtually impossible to hear anyone across the table Service is impeccable and there are some decent wines at decent prices. It's a classic spot and has the New York buzz. Just don't go there if you want a meaningful conversation

Great place for steak, full of suited and booted people as right near radio city and many banks. Boyfriend had the huge porterhouse which he couldn't finish but was great , I had the lamb chops which were very meaty and cooked great, would recommend.

Del Frisco's in NY and LV is always impressive! Their crab cakes are the best ANYWHERE, the lobster mac and cheese is to die for, and you cannot get a better steak anywhere else. If I could give six stars I would. Kudos for always having a consistently great experience for your customers.

Beautiful restaurant situated on the Avenue of the America's with two story views of New York. It has incredible energy, a great bar with a bar menu if you're dining alone or want something quicker. We started with appetizers of onion rings and lobster mac and cheese. More than 4 persons could eat! Everyone had steak - I had the... More

Have had this restaurant on my list for quite some time now. I recommend you make reservations well ahead of time as this is a busy restaurant. Food is absolute great. Went there for lunch. Portions are very well sized. Service is average.

So must have been here 20 times for work or pleasure. This time the maitre d' couldn't find my reservation for some worrying minutes. Then found it. Waitress put us in a table in the far corner missing other vacant ones so we asked to get moved and we were. Then the steaks - well perfect quality as always -... More

I been to del Frisco a handful of times (special occasions only) and it has never disappointed me yet. The food is expensive but the steak is some of the best you'll ever have. Cant go if your going to be cheap though lol.. service is always professional and they cater to you like your royalty. All around great place... More

Had to admit after reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about the place but it really is a great place. We were seated in second floor with great view. Music could have been a little softer but the a/c works fine and all the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful Appetizers were great. Crab cakes to die for... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
