Had an early dinner Saturday night before going to a play at the Public Theater. The service was wonderful. One of our guests was late but we were seated anyway and the server was very sensitive to our time constraints. I am in NYC pretty regularly and this is my favorite restaurant. It is upscale yet casually elegant so you can have any type of dinner here - romantic getaway, business dinner or great food/wine with friends. The food is spectacular - fresh ingredients well prepared with spectacular flavors. The wine list is pretty complicated but the staff is great... more
