The cupcakes were killer, but everything here looks absolutely fantastic. Great to just walk in an look around if youre in the area... but you'll never walk out empty handed... too much temptation. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The banana pudding is not on display but it is amazing!!!!!!! Go for the big one, and join the line that goes out of the shop.

The shop was cute and well staffed for the crowd. The selection looked good and the cupcakes appetizing. We ordered 4 different cupcakes to sample. The vanilla was dry despite the creamy frosting. The chocolate one was moist though and very tasty. It was worth a try but we've found better.

Had found this in research as the place to go cos it's from sex in the city. We encountered a queue which we had been expecting but it went really quickly. I got 3 different flavoured cupcakes for $10 which is good value and was given a box for them. The cupcakes were good but I must admit the sponge... More

You never know when you visit places from TV shows or movies. I had the German chocolate cake and it was absolutely divine. Definitely worth the trip. I will be back!

Everyone has to visit the original Magnolia bakery on their visit to New York. Sometimes you have to queue but its so worth it. The area it is in is beautiful, I would move there if I could afford it. The cute shop itself is quite small, but thats part of its charm. The cupcakes are just lovely, I highly... More

In the age of perfect bodies and slim waists, when you get this incredible carbohydrate desire and you are on a scarsity diet (cannot eat much) stop by Magnolia and indulge in their red velvet cup cake. For that matter, Magnolia has several locations to save you trip to Village, stop by Penn Station or Bloomingdales. You will be happy.
