While at Grand Central Station we had cupcakes and coffee. So so delicious. I am very much craving one right now.

Was a bit disappointed as I thought this was a cafe as well and was looking forward to tea and cake in lovely surroundings. It is just a take away cake shop -having said that the display of cakes did look very nice. Staff were very friendly. There's also articles for sale-bags/aprons/recipe books/baking products..... As I was looking for a cafe... More

We liked our cupcakes. I had a mini chocolate one. I also had iced chai tea which was excellent! The place was very busy. There was a line inside the bakery. We took our goodies to the park across the street where we found a table and chairs to sit and enjoy our wonderful snacks. I highly recommend Magnolia bakery... More

We were recommended by friends to stop at Magnolia and were happy we did! They had lots of mini cupcakes which were perfect samplers. The red velvet was amazing, and we also tried a peanut butter cookie. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. It was a pricier coffee break but definitely worth it! Nice to get away from the standard... More

Service at this branch was much better than the one further uptown. The cakes were not bad either. The location is good as it is opposite a little park where one can sit and enjoy the treats.

Treated myself to a banana pudding and iced coffee after a morning run down the river. Nothing like a sweet and cold dessert on a hot summer's morning in NY! I have to say, this was worth the hype. Not too sweet, and I loved the different textures of crust and pudding.

We stumbled upon the bakery whilst taking in this part of New York and being a Sex and The City fan it was an extremely happy stumble! My husband and I ventured inside to find a gorgeous array of cakes, pastries, cupcakes and much more, each looking like mini works of tasty art! The staff inside were extremely welcoming and... More

I know this bakery was featured on Sex & the City, but it's just not good. I do not like the cupcakes (the icing is terrible-- very sugary, and not creamy enough), the place is constantly packed, and it's basically just a factory for tourist cupcakes. I prefer the cupcakes a few blocks away at Sweet Revenge (great cupcakes and... More

My wife would say this is the best cupcake she has ever had. I would put them in the top 3. It was very good, but no the best :) We tried several different cupcake flavors and cookies. All were very good.
