I've been to many throughout the world, so its a bit hard to get excited about one versus another. His first restaurant in Beverly Hills is the one that I hold most special. The Tribeca restaurant is small. I thinks is a better dinner spot than lunch. If you're in lower manhattan, this is a good choice. You know what... More

You should order OMAKASE than you get 8 courses 75 $! The japanese choose what he like to recommend: It is realy 1 of the best Restaurants. The personal was very friendly. Lunch is cheaper than dinner, thats why we chossed the lunch. The meal came very fast.

Don't get me wrong - this restaurant is worth a 5 stars rating, but I'll later explain why I've ranked it 4 (wish there was a 3.5 as I got my thoughts wondering around 3 or 4..) So, we started off with looking into the menu but quickly folded them away and ordered based on the waiter's recommendations and what... More

If you don't mind paying quite a bit for your food then go there!! it's the 2nd time we ate a Nobu and each time it was fantastic!! very creative japanese cuisine. very friendly staff. very nice interior design of the restaurant. hip scene but still not too loud and crowded. loved it!

I always wanted to go to NOBU, but prices scared me away. Until a rich friend of mine and his brand new wife invited me for a lovely dinner there. We didn´t see De Niro anywhere around, but the culinary experience was exquisite, unforgettable.

I've wanted to go to Nobu for years and finally went during Restaurant Week. It was well worth the wait. Very gracious staff, fabulous sushi.

And it's still as good as the first time. Don't love the welcome at the front desk - they love themselves a lot more than their diners - but that won't keep people from coming back. The food is superb and always delivers. The crispy rice with yellow tail is a foodie's idea of crack. Lots of talent and skill... More

Excellent service and excellent food. The only problem is its overpriced. If you do not care about the price then I highly recommend this place. the Taco appetizers are a must.

Excellent food and wine, helpful sommelier, food has some great NYC specials. Fast efficient service but lacks interest in you as an individual or engagement beyond taking order and putting food down - in fact after the amazing service elsewhere in NYC it's not as good as a fast food stop however we would go again for quality.

Just went back to the original Nobu on Hudson st. WOW. Having been to Nobu locations thru the country, I am happy to say that this place still rocks. Service was outstanding, food outrageous. When other reviews knock them, take that with a grain of salt. Make your own judgement. I will continue to go here often! great place!!!!!!!!!
