Delightful

Just great. Let yourself have a taste voyage. Everything is prepared with delicacy. A great experience.

We had a terrible experience with the young male host on Aug. 27. He thought he was king-of-the-world because he seats people for a living. We asked for a corner table (since it was my husband's birthday, which I had requested when I made the reservation.) He said the corner tables are reserved for "special occasions." I wanted to show... More

Had dinner here and while the food was good it didn't blow us away and the atmosphere and service seemed a bit off. Perhaps it's unfair to compare but we dined at Nobu in London a few years back and the whole experience, from the ambience of the room to the impeccable food and service, knocked our socks off. But... More

How can I put it...our experience here was very disappointing. My wife and I are such huge fans of Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, that to see his flagship Nobu fail in every way was so depressing! We have been here back in 2008 after eating at his other Nobu restaurants. In fact were regulars at his Dubai restaurant in Atlantis hotel since... More

Let's start by saying it was probably one of rare times I didn't tip and I made it known..! Horrible horrible starring at you in disgust snotty impatient service ever..! The place might have been gastronomical news two decades ago but the food is just good not wow, the decor is tired, tables are tiny as if the place is... More

I was told not to expect too much of this Nobu location after having eaten at the London Nobu and I have to say that as far as the decor and the seating set up is concerned, that is true. The food however is excellent - the quality is perfect, the dishes are interesting in every way - the style,... More

I just returned for my 5th visit to Nobu, My son brought me here for restaurant week. From the starters through desert, everything was perfect. The restaurant is large but inviting. Everything starting with the booking, service, and food was perfect. We started with a wonderful mouth watering tartar-salad with a miso dressing . It was perfectly paired with a... More

Visited the original Nobu again after having been to Nobu 57 the last few times. The restaurant has aged, the decor is, in my opinion, not as 'wow' as it was years back when Nobu had a three-months' wait for a table. But the good news is that the food remains excellent and while regulars to Nobu may be a... More

We waited a long time to go to Nobu and it was everything we expected. We tried numerous types of sushi and all were melt in your mouth perfect. The Black Sea Bass was about as good as it gets anywhere! We will definently return on our next trip.

Once again, no matter where the location, Nobu is flawless. How they manage to stay so good when it has become a chain is beyond me. We had the Chef's Choice and it was fabulous as always. Always changing, never boring, high quality food. Love Nobu!

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
