I am a person who goes to every Nobu in the world but Nobu New York is a bit different than the rest. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and when we were given the menu we couldn't even read it as it was so dark. My friend had to switch on her Iphone torch to read... More

We orderd the chef menu for 140$ a person. We had a table from 9:15 PM and the placed closed at 11 sharp (not only the kitchen). The course was too big for that amount of time - the waiter should have told us that when we orderd and suggest something else. We were totally stressed out by the speed... More

One of the best Japanese restaurants we've eaten at. The menu is extensive and ranges from sushi and sashimi to more creative choices including salads and meat dishes. We loved this restaurant so much we came back a second time during our visit to NYC. The waiters were very courteous and helpful with recommendations. It was an absolutely delightful experience... Accidently mislabeled this dish in another post!!!! If you try nothing else thy this!!!! Sushi rice is an art that is lost on most American sushi fans. You'll find the rice here under your sushi much more flavorful than most places. Try the unusual and be surprised..

The sushi was very good here and too service but I was disappointed when I arrived as the London one has a wow factor and this doesn't for the money, needs updating in my opinion.

The Japanese concept of umami is perfected at Nobu. Amazing decor that is both stark but absorbs the noise of a packed restaurant. A very busy place where tables are continuously turned over, but at no time did we feel rushed. Service was professional and efficient. Servings were not large which worked well as many dishes could be sampled. Our... More

I have always wanted to have a meal at this seminal Japanese restaurant. The meal was incredible. It was a once in a lifetime treat so I ordered the Bento box to experience the best of everything.

The third Nobu restaurant I've visited (Nobu LA, Nobu Next Door) and still impressed by the level of service and quality of food. Tried a lot of awesome food, highly recommend the sushi tacos and eggplant shrimp dish.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
