You hear about Nobu from celebrities ad nauseum, how it's the best thing since sliced fish. My wife and I went on a date for her birthday. It was good, not great. I can't say this is one of the best sushi places I've ever been to, but not one of the worst. Waiter was great, Bobby DeNiro didn't show... More

Wonderful experience! Even my picky 12 year old thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Great service by all. Best sushi we've ever had.

10 years later and it was delicious but go hungry. We opted for the guest omakase ($200/per) which does not necessarily add courses but apparently changes some of the ingredients. Our server was nice but prompt - really I struggle to describe her - maybe straightforward. Definitely not the chatty type. Course after course of delicious food in huge (actually... More

We ate Yellowtail sashimi, tuna salad and Black cod during our visit. All the dishes were truly amazing, it tasted terrific. The waiter was superb, she was really nice, attentive and gave us good advices about the menu. Wish we had more time here, my girlfriend said this was probably one of her best meals ever.

The food was nice but the service was awful. Our waiter who looked like a senior member of staff was very rude. When we asked for recommendations it was like we had asked him to give us a free meal! Having been to the london Nobu I would not recommend the New York one.

I was expecting this amazing experience and explosion of flavor based on all the hype around Nobu but I did not taste anything exceptional that would make me crave the food again. I felt like I could find the same food at a good sushi place in my own city. The only thing that was unique was the Rock Shrimp... More

My husband and I came to Nobu to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had incredibly high expectations and also accepted in advance that this would be an expensive meal (we were not disappointed on either count). The menu was massive and the wine list wonderfully extensive. Wanting to experience all the flavors and bring a little bit of extra mystery... More

Nobu met our (very) high expectation, and set a new bar for the next meals. Loved the food - the salad dressing was delicious, the flavors of the sushi plate were celebration, and the dessert was perfect. We came for lunch. The place was full, yet the service was professional and efficient.

Fabulous food, hip decor, but you pay a bit more for the name- I've had equally good nigiri elsewhere in Manhattan for less $. Still, a worthwhile experience for sushi/fusion lovers

This restaurant is unreal. It is by far one of my favorite in the entire world. Ive been to a few located in many different countries. The service is always superb, the food absolutely to die for, and the atmosphere is beautiful. If you hAve the money to blow, this is definitely worth it.
